Mike Sweeney tells his traumatic experience of growing up with a mother having severe mental illness

Mike Sweeney was the Conan head writer for 15 years. He talks about his experience of having a mother with Multiple Personality Disorder on Andy Richter's podcast 'The three questions with Andy Richter' He had a very unfortunate life growing up but he is a true inspiration to everyone. He has a lovely family and has a kind heart.

MIke was on Marc Maron podcast WTF years ago and he was very candid about this time, dealing with his mother and father's problems. It makes me appreciate more his ability to find some peace in comedy and like almost every comedian including Conan, most of their material comes from the dark side of life, unfortunaly some of them are not able to control their demons, R.I.P. to all of them.
