Don King was a conman and the worst thing to happen to Tyson. Worse than Robin Givens lol 😂 King took advantage of Mike when he was young, vulnerable and grieving the loss of Cus. So glad that Tyson finally got sober in the last decade. In recent years Mike has given interviews that suggest he worked on his childhood trauma w/a therapist after the tragic accidental death of his young daughter. Tyson’s life has been complicated and no doubt he has made some impulsive/terrible decisions but his is also an inspirational story of redemption.

this is only a personal opinion, I don't believe Mike intended to rape, or think he did, but I think its possible he went too far and didn't release what he did. I think Washington likely had a right to think she was raped. even if she was all over Tyson beforehand, if she wasn't happy during the sexual encounter, this is a problem. I think Mike was so used to getting what he wanted it so didn't occur to him that he went too far, its no excuse but I believe he didn't feel he raped someone. a lot is up for debate. there is a lot to defend Tyson with but his biggest problem is the fact she reported a rape and she had the injuries consistent with that. you are talking about an 18 year old girl. 120lbs and a heavyweight champ that could snap a man in half. that doesn't look good.
