what is an exhibition fight ? is it a sparring match ?
@jigzonyt5172 жыл бұрын
It means the result doesn't go against your record and usually isn't a full 12 round bout it can vary. No titles on the line, there can sometimes be a no ko rule so if you ko him it can be a no contest result.

Yeah, why didn't Lennox Lewis come up to challenge Mike Tyson when Tyson was in his prime, 1987-1990? Lewis would then also be in his prime, so nobody could make any excuse.

But don’t get me wrong Lewis is nice as shit too!!
@jigzonyt5172 жыл бұрын
Fun fact, Lewis took step aside money from tysons team to not fight at his prime and this is documented. Eventually after all the sentences plus fines tyson incurred he had no option towards the end to face Lewis for a big final payday, Mike always knew Lennox was the better boxer and has stated this. They are very good friends and have known each other since they were teens. Mike, riddick n Lennox were all coming up on the amatuer circuit together. Tyson never got called up to the Olympics because of the trouble he'd been having and lost his spot to bowe I think. Not 100% certain but I'm sure it was bowe that good the call to represent America instead.
@jigzonyt5172 жыл бұрын
@@marcusbrown7817 no he wasnt. Its the opposite completely. Lennox never ducked anybody and was the top guy in two different eras. He was actually paid step aside to not fight tyson back in the early 90s after tyson had not long come out of prison. Tyson was ducking Lennox for a very long time and has even admitted that Lennox was always just too good for him. You can find all of this for yourself 👍

Andrew Golota vs Corey Sanders* I inadvertantly ran into this fight awhile ago, and it is very entertaining to be honest. * kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJTRaniihrapqKs
@jigzonyt5172 жыл бұрын
Golota had a very good run for a while and looked like a pretty considerable threat. But he suffered a few big beatings and lost his edge. Obviously there was the final straw where he refused to continue and walked out of the stadium and that was his career basically finished.
