@Lovegun. 9 жыл бұрын
Did better? Spinks was beaten before he even got in the ring and so was Mcneeley. Mcneeleys plan was to throw everything at Mike, including headbutts, for as long as he could until Mike inevitably knocked him out. That was what happened essentially. Mcneeleys corner was gonna stop it as SOON as he got hurt, which was just alot quicker than everyone thought. Was a mismatch from the beginning but they weren't going to put Mike in the ring with a class opponent in his first fight in almost 4 years. If Mcneeleys corner didnt stop it, Mike would have a few seconds later.

In this video you see like 50 dudes around him and they are all expecting a paycheck.

Credits to Mc neely that he throw everything he had against Tyson. Some of his oponents didn´t.

McNeely's people pulled him out after the two knockdowns because they knew he had shot his bolt and was on a hiding to nothing. The next few punches from Mike could have seriously injured him.

haha this is the first guy i have seen who ran into Mike Tyson and played Tysons own explosive style against Tyson ! :D People can sit and say his an idiot all day, but that takes some serious balls to run into Tyson like that, cut him some slack and give him some cred peepz

A bit strange that the corner jumped in and he was on his feet, but then a read an article and here this is a quote from it: "The night before Tyson-McNeeley, someone in Las Vegas placed a million-dollar bet on the fight not going a full 90 seconds." It lasted 89seconds. Source www.reddit.com/r/Boxing/comments/236q40/why_i_fixed_fights/

When I watch holyfield vs cooper,I can't see holy making it out of the third round vs the best tyson model but in 92,we're talking about a tyson who changed his essence in the ring and had a totally different approach and attitude trying to use intimidation to get an edge. That might not have worked with holyfiled even in 92.The tyson of 88 didnt need that intimidation factor,his skill was so damn good and stellar,that was enough to intimidate the opponents.The post 88 head hunter wasnt enough
