Hopefully you gave them a nice service gratuity and/or a.good Amount of patronage to their business for helping you out there. Although they are too polite to ask, clearly their business with tourists is their subsistence, and a really nice tip would be a trivial amount of money to most westerners.

We never tip on camera-it feels performative, and we’ve seen some KZbinrs do this purely to gain favor with local audiences, which we find off-putting. That said, we always tip our guides and include free promotion in our videos as a way to give back. Having worked in the service industry for below minimum wage, we know firsthand how much tips mean to the people receiving them.

Congratulations to Mike and Ashley for a really well-put together travel documentary in every aspect, from camera work and cinematography to suspense and narration. You know it's a good story when your attention is grabbed from the start and you cannot let go till the end. Thank you for sharing the recent dark history of Cambodia, not many people know. They always put Cambodia down and why they are way behind the rest of Southeast Asia. They had no clues what was happening. Scholars, doctors, engineers, archeologists, historians, teachers and among others were wiped out during the Khmer Rouge Regime. This will open their eyes. We traveled the entire time without a guide until we arrived to Battambang. We didn’t experience anything that remotely felt unsafe or sketchy in any of the areas we explored. The only reason we took a tour with Mr. Kay in Battambang was because his offer was so enticing and a very good price, and we can 100% recommend it.
