@@brentjamesonparker I'm guessing suicide, he talked a lot about mental health on this channel. Covid restrictions and lockdowns are leading to a lot of suicide in young people, more than die from the virus.

@Epsylon if it was suicide then people should talk about it openly. The CG industry is terrible for mental health on top of forcing people to work remotely because of covid19 hysteria.

Please don't speculate about his death now. I know what happened and will share more with his mom. For now lets just do what we can to keep his legacy alive!

@Okinawa 4K it is hysteria at the heighest level. That is absolutely not saying that people can experience a heavy flu, or in rare cases worse, fact remains that 99,9% will have little to no complaints. I hope you and your family are doing ok, really I do. Me and my family also had it and I was worried about my mother. Luckily she got better on Zinc+Quercetine protocol within a few days. I highly recommend to take these vitamins as study has shown its effectiveness (although I recommend it mainly due to my personal experience with my mother). Scientific evidence can be found here: c19study.com

RIP Mike, I wish any of us could have helped you. I wish you were free in your own mind. If you are here watching this and struggling call your local suicide prevention hotline, call a friend, DM someone. Do not suffer quietly. You are loved, you have worth, you are real, your effort matters, your life matters, your suffering is real, your pain is real and other real people are around to listen. Most importantly someone to connect with. The world is not only populated with blind mean angry little people who don't care about you. Mikes work always made me feel like when I was a kid looking at Frazetta, Vallejo, Moebius or any number of sci-fi/fantast artist. Every model an exploration of wonder and amazement. Even just a screen grab was a study in excellence. Incredibly driven and focused and uncompromising in quality.

Looking at this now, it really is a major red flag. All this convoluted talk about his back seems to be a way of self assurance that he is going to get out of a depression. Unfortunately , most of the time, this is an invisible disease and sometimes we only notice it when it is already too late.

I was worried for weeks about his mental health, I made the same kind of mistakes he was doing in my mid 20s. I don't know if reaching out would have changed much, but I wish I did. In his adhd vid I was so happy when he said he was going to get professional help, then his next video said he was gonna try fix it himself. I was really worried for him. If anyone is struggling.. please please please don't try and man up and fix it yourself. It's ok to ask for help, you don't have to do it all by yourself.

@@grdt56546trgrdytr i wish i had found out his vids earlier. i have the same adhd type as he has and yeup the manic depression is super bad, and it's too dark to talk about and to reach out without ppl think you're a freak so stuff like this happens. i would have helped with standing in solidarity. just so sad. ppl think of guys like him as some kind of commodity assembly line that churns stuff out and it breaks u. there's hardly any adhd people repping like he does too.
