That saw looks like it isn't that old, just had a lot of abuse and neglect from the previous owner. Nice job restoring it to good working order. Being able to obtain spare parts is the key. I bought my first saw, a Stihl 015L around 50 years ago. Maybe 10 years back, I did a rebuild on it, new main bearings which I was able to obtain locally here in Australia and I got a new carburettor, used chain cover and a few other parts that I got from a small shop in the US through the mail. I've also rebuilt two Ozito chainsaws using parts from three damaged.broken ones with a new coil for one. Parts are not obtainable for these Ozito saws, so I am still missing the air filter and air filter cover from one.

Thanks! Yeah, it seems like the major brands do a really good job of providing access to parts through big reseller networks, even for older models. That's part of the reason their stuff costs more. Not only is it better quality, but it's also supported long after the model is discontinued. You can spend less money on a store brand tool but in a lot of cases, replacement parts are not even available, even for newer models. As for the Ozito saws, do you have access to a 3D printer? If so, you could take measurements from the cover of another saw, even if the cover is broken, and print a new plastic cover. When it comes to the air filter, I found that you can buy rectangular pieces of air filter material and then cut it to fit your needs. It might need more cleaning than the original but, if done right, it should provide adequate protection. Thanks for the comment!

Check the oil light because I saw some smoke coming off

Good eye but that was just the WD-40 burning off that I used to clean the muffler.

I usually just go to Amazon and buy a Kungfubrator. In many cases the new carb is cheaper than a kit . I was really surprised when I worked on my McCullough that they are no longer in business and any info or parts is nonexistent. I was also surprised how much of the saws are plastic

I don't have much experience with aftermarket carbs. If possible, I prefer to repair the original but it's nice to know there are cheap options if needed.
