Thanks for your video. I was just on a flight and notice everyone else had Bluetooth headphones and wonder if there was an upgrade for my QC15. Perfect timing to come across your video.

I have the Btunes and they are awesome. Owned it for about a year and a half now. Still works no issues at all. And it does last about 8-10 hours easily. I bought these even though I own a QC35 but wanted to bring my old QC15 into the modern times. These also have better latency than the QC35. A great buy.

@@jonyllama I don’t use them much to talk on but just tested this with my son since I put them on the cut the grass. He said it sounds like any other call and would rate the quality 8 or 9 out of 10. Hope that helps you.

@@jonyllama I’ve used the mic to make calls and to voice chat in games. No complaints on the other side. However the are no noice cancellation for the mic. This means that the person on the other side will hear everything. At the same time though this is also true with most mics such as the ones on the airpods which people said are great for making calls.

Got mine for 10.99. Need to buy new ear cups of course (and I'm savvy enough to avoid the OEM ones, it's shocking how horrible they are) but I'm going to end up with a very very high bang for buck pair of cans.

@@awesomeferret I did a video recently where I replaced my ear cups and headband. The ones in my video are ok but prefer the wicked ones since they are more comfortable and lasted a very long time.

After watching your videos and others I decided to get these. Such a great decision. These are awesome. Makes my QC15 feel like modern headphones. Battery life seems good. 10% drain every hour. Thats about 10 hours which isn't as good as the QC35 but still good enough. Not worth paying $300 to simply double the battery life. Charging is very quick too and not annoying like the airmods.

Yah I wanted to get one of these but I got the Black Web from Wal-Mart instead that converts all 3.5 jacks to Bluetooth. I use them with my Bose QC15 and IEBuds..... I have had to send my Bose back and get them replaced once usually every 2 sets of ear pads I have to send the Headphones back to them replaced, the first set the Audio went out in it after many many years of use.
@theMekanik5 жыл бұрын
$80 buks I think I paid $199 new or even maybe $299 when they first came out...... speaking of I need to see what they are going to charge me to fix them this time they do not turn on any more. The first set was well worn and traveled I put a sht ton of flight time on them, worth every penny. With a neck pillow and noise canceling headphones 🎧 long flights are a breeze, I definitely pass out 😅

Thanks, that was very helpful! Great to know these old headphones can be upgraded to be wireless. My only concern is that the adapter has a built-in battery (what I like about the Bose is being able to easy replace the battery), as all batteries degrade over time. How's it holding up for you?

It's sort of amazing that people ask this though. How is it possible for so many people to watch this video and ignore exactly what they know their eyes are seeing: a wireless 3.5mm cable solution (with a directly attached 3.5mm jack instead of one on a wired extension) shaped in a curve to fit around a headphone? Sorry bit you are basically choosing to insult your own intelligence by thinking that if you need a battery when having a wire-based source going into the only physical input on the headphones but somehow don't if that source is going into the exact same input but just happens to be grabbing its audio from a Bluetooth source and happens to not have a wire attached to it but just a headphone jack. I worry about humans sometimes. To watch a video and pay so little attention to what you are seeing...

I have tried a few and none came close to the sound quality and noise canceling of Bose. Sony has surpassed them but come at an even higher cost. This is a great way to convert the older Bose that you may already have. Thanks for checking out my channel:).
@1337wafflezz3 жыл бұрын
@@ShutterFanatic for real? that’s pretty cool. I thought Bose sound quality only started getting good around the time of the QC35 although their anc and comfort has always been top notch. It’s a neat little product. Personally though i think the new stuff is only going to get better and better. Nothing is preventing the cheap stuff from also applying an EQ curve with their ANC to bump up the sound quality just like Bose.
@ShutterFanatic3 жыл бұрын
@@1337wafflezz my BIL has the QC35s and I can’t tell any difference in sound quality to mine. Don’t get me wrong, Bose are not for the serious audio file guys out there but still make one of the best airplane headphones. This is the reason I bought them years ago. They worked great other that the annoying super long cord that would always wrap around my leg and rip out the headset insert when getting up to let someone pass. The China clones are getting better and will be there soon. I just sent a couple back to Amazon the other day due to the lack of comfort and sound quality. I was looking for a cheap pair to dedicate to mowing the lawn.

You didnt show that you need to remove a screw from the inside so you can remove the cable easly, i almost ripped the cable wire of the headphone, by doingwhat you do,
@ShutterFanatic2 жыл бұрын
They must have changed it over the years because mine doesn’t have a screw. I would always get the cable caught on something and it would rip out unintentionally. Maybe the screw was to help with that. Good to know for others. Thanks for posting this info.
