That 4.7 was updated in 2008 to put out 310 horsepower and 330lb. ft of torque. Still wish they made it, it was a good in-between engine, who knows how much further it could have improved if it had gotten the 8 spd. Great review, thinking of later on trading my ‘06 Dakota for this type of configuration

Your power numbers are for older years. In 2009+ the 3.7 made 215 hp, the 4.7 made 310 hp, the 5.7 made 390 hp.

My 2004 Ram Hemi make 345 hp factory. Numbers are a little off pretty sure the new Hemis make 395 hp.

He is correct. The Hemi put out 390 HP from 2009-2012, it was then increased to 395.

I enjoyed the video, well done. The only comment I have is that the quad cab had a longer bed so it wouldn't really be any easier to drive and park because the overall length I believe is the same.

4th dodge ram is the good-looking truck. All the 2,019 truck are ugly as hell. I like gmc n chevorlet trucks until 2,019 as well.

That is the Reason I bought a 2017 Laramie with that gorgeous Blue Metallic Pearl. They ended that color for 2018 and I have yet to see even 1 decent blue since come from Mopar. The Holland Blue is a puke baby blue and the Darl Blue just hides the natural beauty of Blue to begin with. Too Bad. I want a 2020 with that Giant Screen in it..........Maybe they bring it back.......Never really did like Chevy/GMC due to the antique gauges and dashboard. The Tailgate Step development is a GREAT Idea..............but not so good to make me buy one.

Just to be factually accurate; For 2019, the current fourth-generation Ram 1500 will be sold alongside its successor, the fifth-generation Ram 1500. Virtually identical to 2018 models, 2019 trucks will be given a new name, Ram 1500 Classic, to distinguish them from their all-new fifth-generation successors. The Ram 1500 Classic will offer a 2-Door Regular Cab model, whereas the fifth-generation Ram 1500 will not. In addition, Quad and Crew Cab models are also expected to be offered.

It’s optional so some of them do. in pre 2013 4th generation rams it’s by the parking break release if equipped and after 2013 it’s under the climate controls by the traction control and tow/haul mode buttons
