Chef Mike always go back to your roots. Helps us remember where we came from and makes us thankful for where we are today. Ok, enough of that. TAAAAASTE!!!! I opened my mouth as you took that first bite. Pulled pork after 14 hours of slow cooking, Sweet Baby Ray's, Texas Pete hot sauce and home made coleslaw....MAN, IT DON'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT. Awesome cook . Done to perfection that only Chef Mike can do. Stay safe my brother.

Yeah SK I've had that Guru for quite a few years I break it out every now and then. It helps on those long night cooks so I can get some sleep. The pork was awesome, bbq pork doesn't get much better than this. Thanks so much for being there my friend. I appreciate you.

My favorite is to get my butcher to sell me the shoulder & butt together as a whole piece. It can take a very long time to cook, but with some vinegar based sauce there is no better eating. I like Ray's sauce, but never on pull pork! lol My family, friends & neighbors would decend on the house when they heard that I was makin' Pulled Pork. Back in the day, we had no automatic gizmos to regulate the temp. Just old fashioned diligence and very little sleep.
@mikecha19574 жыл бұрын
Hey David I've not had the opportunity to cook a whole shoulder that would ne nice to do. Ad far as the Ray's...This was the first time I've ever used any tomato based sauce on a pulled pork sandwich, just wanted to see if I liked it. Thanks for watching
