My all time favourite oil is Maroccanoil Treatment Original and a second is Olaplex Bonding Oil. Both do wonders to my wavy/curly hair 😊 Never tried Kerastase Elixir so will definitely do it at some point. Thank you for you videos Mike, you are amazing 🙏❤️🙂

Super surprising to not see Olaplex 7 hair oil. It’s exceptional for performance and I tried others (some you covered) and settled with Olaplex.

I own almost all the good oils including the ones you mentioned. One other great oil I want to mention is Gisou oil produced by Negrin’s ,the influencer’s family. It is so good I just ordered another big bottle during BF sale. The mask from the brand is also excellent.

Tried lots of different oils, shu uemura was on of my faves for many years until I try sisley hair oil, you should try, is magic in a bottle 😊 xx

I have about 15 different oils and serums from Weleda over Redken to Sebastian. At the time I use the Kérastase Elixir Ultime classic version, but I don't like the scent. It smells like cheap perfume from the 80's. I prefer the Therapiste Serum by Kérastase. I also use the Metal Dx Oil quite often - the consistency is more serum-like-, but I absolutely adore the smell and how the hair feels, cos it does not feel greasy but silky. If you prefer a silicon free oil, I would recommend Lavender Mint Nourishing Oil by Paul Mitchell. Anyway, thanx for this interesting review. I would love a film about the Kerastase scalp serums like Initialiste, Extentioniste, Genesis etc. What is your opinion about the 8H Magic Night Serum and the Fusio Dose salon treatments by Kerastase? soo many questions 🤣 there are so many oils on the market, and it's so hard to choose the best ones. for example, i love mythic oil when im working with type 3 and 4 hair or davines oil ace as well. im nearly sure i done a film on one of the kerastase scalp oils. genesis homme scalp treatment is in my daily routine, and i love it. i never used the nutritive overnight serum, but i use the cica overnight serum, and i love it.

Having platinum bleached hair i really need a good hair oil. Tried the olaplex one but it just wasn't moisturising enough. Tried the gold bottle kerastase one and love it, makes my hair soft and doesn't weigh it down. Also, don't put all your trust in a hair oil for heat protection. Use a leave in conditioner and seperate product specifically for heat protection.

Im kind of surprised there was no mention of semi di lino sublime cristalli líquidi, which is amazing! No buildup at all. Better than Kerastase in my opinion.

Just subscribed to your channel! Great tips and reviews. I’m currently using Elixir Ultime. Great oil but I prefer the Oleo Relax from Kerastase as well. I have thick medium hair that tends to flyaway. Kerastase oils keeps them tamed. Anyway, thanks Mike amazing video!
