PRIEST vs EVERY UNIQUE UNIT (No Heresy) | AoE II: Definitive Edition

The Priest is a variant of the Monk introduced in Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms. It is one of several returning units from the first game re-introduced in Age of Empires II, such as the Heavy Swordsman and Legionary. Priests cannot be trained, but are available in the Scenario Editor and make appearance in some campaign scenarios, e.g. Estado da India and Echoes of Heroes.
Priests function similarly to regular Monks, being able to convert enemy units and heal friendly ones. A notable difference is that rather than the standard Monk chanting from Age of Empires II, they utilize the popular "Wololo" chanting from Age of Empires.

The reason that monks didn't convert missionaries is monks civilization is set to Indians and Indians can't upgrade atonement. So those monks are just sitting ducks on missionaries' conversion. And I think this experiment should be retested with civilization which all upgrades of monastery is available.

If anything this video proves the AI is stupid in a monk rush situation. If you take the example of the war elephants, sure they convert the first one but the problem is that the herd stops moving towards the monks and they attack the blue elephant. Having continue to charge the monks, they would have obliterate them and losing mayber 3 or 4 units top. That would be interesting to know if there is something to fix that, a script, a difficulty level, a patch, etc.

If there would be literally any micro involved against these monks, they would lose most of that :D I believe they can convert charging elephnats or kataphracts but no way you can get all longbowmen. You would be lucky to convert 2 if you are micro god :D
