Gosh, I love this guard so much!! If you go through all of the videos, he is the same soldier that does a little side step for a photo op with the well behaved kids, or special needs kids. He fixes the equipment on one of the horses and goes to give the horse a little smooch, he walks slowly but with purpose and seems to get around the crowds of people in such a mannerly way. He has won my heart with all the specialty in his personality. Plus looking like a young Tom Cruise in the face doesn’t hurt one bit.

I don't know if his intention was to be so loved and desired, but he achieved it only by being extremely cordial and kind, (besides being beautiful) and with exciting gestures towards some very polite tourists, but he is the one that most people choose to take pictures of and take as a souvenir. I’d have thought having a guy in a 2 foot tall helmet with a bright red plume and a sword advancing on you, yelling ANYthing might well be a subtle hint to get the hell outta the way, no?. As for pushing back behind the bollards, or the white lines in the the yard, they can SEE people being told and shown where to go. It isn’t a huge leap of logic that if everyone is being pushed behind there that it might be a good survival move to do the same, hmmm?
