Some of basics range is really good. They rebranded the basics frozen ready meals to Stamford street and cut price and they are excellent ready meals. They also do a discount range called J James on fresh foods and that is apparently very good too. Basics mix veg frozen is good too as there’s no sweet corn in there lol. Thank you for doing it and show that there’s nothing to be afraid of buying basic/ value ranges from supermarkets and there is money to be saved by buying them instead of the big brands.

@Brit Shanks the prick spent £10.50 on a bottle of vodka and £4 on a bag of sweets. So if you take that £15 away yes it is still too much. However aldi is not cheap. I could feed myself for near enough a month on the £15 that this prick has wasted on booze and chocolate. Try a slow cooker.
@MarkNorville5 жыл бұрын
@Amrin Ibaa A slow cooker 3.5 ltr will do around 7 bowls of what ever you cook. It would depend upon your bowl size though. A bag of mince costs £3.50 from iceland and a total of £5 for the rest of the ingredients. It works out to 71p a serving. 10 sausages £1 total with other ingredients let's say £4 57p a portion for sausage casserole. So that is two weeks worth of meals for £9. When you slow cook meat you can buy the cheap stuff as it tastes a lot better slow cooking than it does frying.
@richwilliams98955 жыл бұрын
