The loop ride is one of my favorites. My favorite house is the old white one sitting all by its self. Great video. We also like the river ride up or down rt13 along the St. John’s river.

I’ll have to check that one out too

I like using the Hero 11 mini on helmets to save on weight and wind issues. Battery life can be an issue but using the gopro remote helps if you're not recording for more than 20 minutes at a time. Ride safe!

The thing about the dry heat versus the humidity is that your sweat will evaporate more quickly the lower the humidity which does have the practical upshot of helping you cool off more easily assuming that you’re wearing full gear which you’re obviously not, but it does lead to dehydration more quickly as well. I’ve spent 27 years in Florida riding motorcycles and every year I go on a cross country trip that normally takes me out west. One of the only times I have had to stop riding because of environmental conditions was an Arizona. Taking my time going through avoiding interstates and despite constantly sucking from my camel pack, I couldn’t keep up hydration wise. I remember I wound up pulling over on the side of the road underneath of a little country overpass for a train setting up my car and just laying there pounding down a gallon and a half of water. I laid there for about six hours until it was about two hours after dark before I was able to feel like I could safely get back on my bike and keep riding. In retrospect, I may have had a stroke.

We used to ride from Phoenix over to SoCal and riding through that desert in July was brutal. We had vests that looked like bullet proof vests but they had water pouches in them. We wore those and let to air flow through them so we wouldn’t die lol

The loop is cool. I hate it during bikeweek though. Too much traffic. I got the badges. But couldn’t make it back to Seminole before closing. Do you work tomorrow?

Im truck driver & I agree that Van/reefer trailers shouldn’t be going down those canopy roads unless absolutely necessary
@UncleBogator7 ай бұрын
Amen to that. And the ones that aren’t canopy roads, keep em well maintained so y’all don’t hit the trees

I’ve lived in the area for 13 years and you are discovering all the roads that I discovered a long time ago. If you haven’t tried them yet, run up Marsh road to 11. Another great local biker bar is Foxheads in Osteen. Also… on the loop stop in to see the Fairchild Oak. The oldest and biggest tree in Florida.

We’ve seen fox head but didn’t stop. It’s on the short list!

Good looking ride. Yeah we have areas like that here but like you said it ain’t Florida. I used to go to the local 1% owed bar in my hood. They were cool with taking pictures and posting videos of their place all they asked was not to photo or record their chapter flag hanging on the wall. Always had a good time there. It’s always best to ask, remember respect goes a long way.

I moved from deltona to Texas . My right hand on the Bible the Mexican food is way better back in Florida than Texas. Me and my wife also can’t finde a cannoli to save are life !
@UncleBogator5 ай бұрын
We didn’t care for Texas Mexican food either. SW AZ and SoCal are the best imo.
