What I love about this game is that they took everything that made the first Castlevania amazing...and expanded on it. Like graphically more interesting, different cooler enemies, new gameplay mechanics, you can play as different characters etc...also if you notice this game has some of the same sound effects from Goonies 2 for NES

Akumajou Densetsu is the one true way to experience the horror of Castlevania III. The music, the graphics. 👌

@@MADVILLAIN669 its the japanese version but to get the full sound you need a famicom or modded NES or an emulator. Damage is changed and grant was changed greatly as well.

One of the most difficult games ive ever beat. It def tests your patients thats for sure. Rage quit a bunch of times before beating it

On the whip only run, will you use companions? If so you can skip the majority of the levels with alucards bat form you don't need to attack with him so it seems you'd still be using only whip... just depends on your guidelines.

Thanks for clarifying that Mike. I had wondered why you never came back to Ocarina of Time , after the water temple. I thought you were going to get back to it someday after a few easy games here and there. Just like Bart's Nightmare

For the doppleganger whip only you can hit him and immediately select your other character.

Or if you have Grant as your ally, switch to him while you are within knifing distance from the Doppleganger and kneel down. The Doppleganger will switch to Grant and you can spam knife him to death in the crouched position. He won't move, he'll just throw axes over your head.

Hey Mike Matei, how about a no continue challenge for Castlevania? You can play the game normally, but if you lose all your lives and get a game over you have to restart the whole game over from the beginning as you can't continue. You should try a no continue run for a challenge and/or attempt it.

Yeah the axe is pretty much mandatory if you're partners with anyone other than Sypha. I'm not even sure you can beat his second or third forms without it.

The Alucard path is actually one of the easiest paths. How Mike did the fly bys. Imagine not being able to do that with all the other partner characters. Better yet, with Trever by himself and no helper characters.

Danny L. As I was attempting to explain, you CAN use clips, but that puts your videos in more danger to get a content id match.
