As someone with a S24U, TabS9+, Watch Ultra, Smart Tags and earbuds, I consider myself pretty deep in the ecosystem and I love it. Tried iPhone last year but I missed all the options that my Samsung phone had and the phone just felt... Sluggish in comparison to my, then, S23U. Sold my 15 Pro Max and went over to the S24U and couldn't be happier! Also bought the Watch Ultra for €75. That's something that wouldn've never been possible with Apple which is a massive bummer for people in that ecosystem.

I am in "both" ecosystems... have an S24 Ultra with Samsung Watch Ultra... so the best of the best on Samsung. On the Apple side I have an iphone 13 (so older iPhone) with an Apple Watch Ultra. My computers are all MacOS so there is that on the Apple side. But to be honest though I like the flexibility of Android OS... I see no speed differences between the 2 phones and I don't care about "pro" cameras on either phone so there is that. There is just way more "smarts" on the Apple side of things. I think the S24 Ultra is a great phone and love my Samsung Watch Ultra.... but on smarts and working together there really is just no comparison. My Apple Watch I could actually see it as a "stand alone" device uisng it to talk and text... just not happening on my Samsung Watch Ultra.. you can techinically do it but you can see "the details" on the Apple side... they are very anal on the detail stuff.

For my Samsung TV with Chromecast, I can use either Smart Things device control or Google TV to control and watch TV (KZbinTV is my "cable" choice). I have a Google thermostat, which I can easily control with Google Home or Smart Things, both work fine. I also have a Yale digital front door lock, which I can control with Google Home or the Nest app. My phone is the Fold6, which I love, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra, which I also love. Samsung has really stepped up their hardware design IMO this year. Everything just looks so sleek. I am waiting for my Buds 3 Pro, can't wait to incorporate them as well. as a complete ecosystem user, the weakest link is the laptops. 90% of the "ecosystem features" can be achieved with phone link in windows. nearly all samsung apps are installable through microsoft store. Even the notes app can be made to run on any device using a powershell script. The "Seamless earbuds switching" outright does not work in most cases. in the rare instance it works, it's terribly buggy between laptop and mobile devices. it's good between tab & mobile though.
@nafeeahnaf6296Ай бұрын
The switching works pretty well if you have the buds 2 pro or the 3 series with a newer galaxy book, Samsung Find is the biggest reason I got the Galaxy Book it natively connects into Samsung's find network and for someone who loses his stuff often it's a must have. Also copy paste works natively with all 3 devices the book, tab and phone unlike limiting to 2 devices with phonelink. MMulticontrol is also nice. Samsung notes works better and more stable on Galaxy books. S Pen interchangeably works on 360 galaxy book, tab and any S pen compatible galaxy. Also access to Samsung pass which I rely on.

@nafeeahnaf6296 I do have the buds 2 pro and book 4 pro. It doesn't do seamlessly very well. I agree the find my is a good feature, i do not have any problem with the notes app in my pc. Same goes for copy paste working across phone, tablet and pc/book 4 pro.

So happy that you brought up MST, it was the leading feature for me until Samsung removed it. Walmart refuses to enable NFC tap to pay and actively blocked MST to try forcing people into paying through the Walmart app, so it was fun to try using Samsung pay at Walmart because it would freeze the checkout terminals forcing them to have to restart it lol.

I think the connection between Samsung phones, tablets, and wearables is pretty solid, but the real struggle is linking phones or tablets to PCs. I use my phone for everything so of course I would want the best of the best. but I'm also perfectly satisfied with a galaxy watch 4 classic and galaxy tab s7, especially since my tablet is pretty much a glorified e-reader lol. my galaxy book2 pro is still extremely quick anf responsive and deftly handles the editing and writing it do on it. big fan of the screen too. most of those items I got for pennies on the dollar compared to if I wanted the best of the best of all those items. that said, I think the galaxy buds are the only ones I've updated every time a new one has come out. might upgrade to the galaxy watch ultra soon, but it isn't a must have for now.

And why it is better than apple? Because you doesn't need all samsung products to use as ecosystem. Any windows laptop will do the job.

It still has a long way to go, often the sync between galaxy watch and galaxy phones becomes inconsistent as an example even the latest Watch is affected

Currently using s24U previously had s23U, s22U, s21U. I'm getting tired of the dependency on Google. Google is single handedly ruining android. Samsung makes great products. Google is very inconsistent and has too many bugs and hiccups that are REALLY taking away from my experience. Google loads very slow on any network, chrome lags alot, Google play store never auto updates apps and it is literally impossible to solve that issue. I have loved and defended android for a long time but I'm thinking of switching to IOS. Samsung is great, Google is very very bad.

I would ALMOST accept a samsung led os at this point google has fallen off so hard in the last 5-7 years

@@detached336 just switched to apple yesterday got a 16 pro max and my god is it so much better. You can customize everything so much more than the last time I had iOS. Also everything is smooth as butter no hiccups at all

3:00 thats a plus for samsung in my opinion its not the kind of walled garden that apple is, you are way more flexible.

I'm in the ecosystem and loving it ❤

I can appreciate how devices in an ecosystem synergize, but isn't "the ecosystem" the reason devices work worse or not at all with other branded devices?

The vast majority of these features are available across ecosystems (screen mirroring, cross device text messaging, browser sync, password managers, multi-point Bluetooth, etc). People dislike apple because of their closed ecosystem and so they turn to android, what is the point of doing that if you are just going to lock yourself into another walled garden being run by another massive singular corporation. The answer for any ecosystem is always no, it's not worth it to limit yourself to a singular device manufacturer. Buy the best product for your particular needs.

The buds 3 pro are nearly useless with windows or any other non Samsung devices. The codecs limitations are just too much.

Fit bits works just the same. I'm not in any eco system have a s24 ultra fitbit versa watch and Sony overears noise canceling headphones. Which the headphones switch and do the same as buds
