As a giants fan I truly don’t understand our own fan base. Daniel jones has never been great, or above average, his “playoff season” he finished with only 15 Td’s and 5 Int’s. Which should be considered just average. I don’t hate the guy but I won’t keep having false hope for someone who just isn’t good enough to be getting paid 160 million. I cannot believe the amount of fans I see daily who still believe he’s the face of our franchise or get offended like you’re not a real fan when you criticize him. Not everyone can have a Patrick Mahomes or a Josh Allen, but we shouldn’t settle for less. As for Daboll and our GM I think they are okay for now, and they’re still trying to find their footing. But going into year 3, they’re not horrible by any means, but if Mara decides to get smart one day, and completely revamp the team, their jobs are definitely at risk. There will be plenty of QB’s next year in the draft. I don’t care who we take, we just need a new player. Not a veteran, or someone who’s already in the league. A fresh new young quarterback who can be molded into the player our coach wants them to be.

This will never change. The market will always dictate currently what qbs get. They should get paid according to their hierarchy in talent compared to other qbs in the league, but sadly it don't work that way, and hasn't for a long time. So a scrub will always get overpaid. The Watson money though was overboard. The market did b t even dictate that kind of money the browns gave him. They overdid it by alot just cause they didn't want to have anyone compete with their bid but all they did was outbid themselves like fools and now look at the moron browns. Watson is cooked.

On a serious note, after watching the game vs. the Vikings week 1, the offensive line has definitely improved - still some ways to go, but defintely an improvement. The pass rush will pick up eventually, I have no doubt about that. The giants have a very good squad, they just need a capable QB.

I think it’s pretty clear that the issues with the Giants are well beyond the players. I don’t think Daniel Jones is a legend or anything, but he’s probably a lot better than his play indicates. Saquon got out at the right time. And not to be too picky, but it’s pronounced Tibba-doh, not Thibba-doh.
