The NFL should do away with agents period. Have a base salary for rookies up to 3 years, then a 5-tiered payout system; tier 1 for practice squad, tier 2 for back-up players, tier 3 for starters, tier 4 for being in top 10 of their position, and tier 5 for being the best at their position. The tiers are based on a yearly stat and can change from year to year. This would level out the playing field for every team and make it more competitive for every team; no more of teams stockpiling top players and paying them outrageous amounts of money, and lower ticket prices as well!

Look at both Kirk Cousins and Aaron Rodgers, they're not playing the same as they used to prior to the Achilles injuries and I believe a lot of it is not just the Achilles injury itself I think a lot of it's the mental part. They don't want to strain their lower portion of their body too hard when throwing cuz they're afraid they're going to tear or rupture their Achilles or MCL or ACL because you see all the non-contact injuries happening in the NFL and I believe a lot of it is mental after recovering from the injuries they don't want to re-injure themselves and I know this by experience after having my leg shattered when I was 15 years old, they put the titanium rod and screws in my leg to fix it and I was on crutches for like 3 or 4 months and then when I got off crutches my leg just didn't really feel the same and my doctor told me not to favor that leg to run and jump on it just like I normally would but subconsciously I would baby the leg if I jumped over like a small little staircase or jumped off the stairs or jumped over something I would subconsciously land all my weight on my left leg and I did that for years not really trying to do it it was just safer to me in my mind cuz I didn't want to break my leg or injure my leg that I had surgery on because after the surgery my leg still feels like weird my knee feels numb still because when I had to cut my knee openly you're cutting nerves and things like that. But it still felt like my knee or leg was never fully healed and I blame that on myself because I wasn't going full pressure on my leg like I should have I bet if I would have did it with my doctor told me to do my leg would feel a lot better it wouldn't have felt like it was still injured and I believe Rogers and Kirk Cousins kind of have that same issue going on in the mental part of the recovery

As a Bucs fan. Absolutely hilarious. Now, lets hope Penix doesn't come in and do super well. As good as we are playing right now we still need Atlanta to keep loosing.

Kirk Cousins is the ultimate bag 💰 getter. He's been mediocre his entire NFL career and yet keeps getting these big money contracts. What are NFL owners seeing in Cousins?? 🤔 Hes proving once again that he's a backup QB at best.

The problem in Atlanta is a system / play calling situation. They have a coaching problem that they brought on themselves. The Falcons could`ve kicked Fontenot to the curb and had literally the best coach in NFL history and they passed. This move to Penix will only highlight the reach for a bad pick in last years draft.

When the Falcons picked Penix Jr, we all knew this was the bridge 🌉 to a one way ride 🛫 for Kirk out the door 🚪. Regardless if it were to happen this year or next year, it was gonna happen. Kirk's gonna be packing his bags🧳for the Colts/Raiders/Panthers/Giants/Seahawks or anyone else desperate for a QB.

May have a replacement but will anyone take that cousins contract now? Will that contract affect the weapons you can keep/sign?

As a Vikings fan, I never liked Cousins. I am so happy he's finally gone. I have zero sympathy for Atlanta. WTF were they thinking?

As a Packers fan, I can appreciate drafting and developing a QB while you still have a veteran on the team, but the Falcons didn’t really do that. Either sign a veteran free agent and draft to help them, or draft a QB and use free agency to help them. The Falcons double dipped on QBs when they could have used that money better elsewhere.

Kyle Shanahan, dont even think about it 😂

Being that quarterbacks can play into their 40's, drafting a 24 year old at the position doesn't necessarily make him "old" when compared to other position players. Sometimes, the maturity is well worth it and if the guy is a good quarterback, 5 years from now no one will even be talking about his age at draft time.

Football aside. We all know Captain Kirk is the goat of robbing banks in NFL history. Do you like that!!! 😂😂😂😂

I'm glad that you sometimes dive way too deep into the stats and stuff because it just really shows people that you know what you're talking about. You and Brandon Perna, the only football dudes I watch!

Cousins is, was, and will always be garbage. Never wanted him in MN. So glad he is gone. Thanks Falcons!

Excited for MPJ. Watched him when he was at Indiana and liked him, despite being an MSU fan (you can Nelson Muntz me).

We won't start Trey Lance cause he hasn't shown us nothing to put him in, Look at his preseason games where he played more than Rush. Rush yet still got the backup job cause Rush kept us in playoff looks while Dak was injured, we know what we have with Rush. Lance shouldn't have gotten hurt and then come back and not show people anything to put him in the game during the seasons but here and there. It's really not that hard to figure it out.....

I don’t understand the appeal of Kirk. If he had a better playoff win loss ratio I’d get it why he’s paid what he is but still. He’s been paid like an all pro SB contender but he just isn’t that. He’s closer to Carr than Lamar Jackson

Nobody is going to trade for cousins. He has been awful. They’ll wait for them to release him so they don’t have to take on a stupid contract.

Tangentially related to this video please do a complete analysis for CJ Stroud as his performance this year is not as good as last year. 😁

I think it is pretty obvious that Cousins has fallen off a cliff and unlikely to recover so going to Penix makes all the sense in the world. Especially after you pointed out that the next 3 teams they face have strong pass defenses. Perfect time to find out what they got with Penix.
