For me as a lifelong Lions fan it’s either Crosby or nothing. He seems to fit perfectly with everything that’s been built in Detroit and even tho Brad Holmes has been a genius in the draft I’d be willing to give up multiple high value picks for Crosby. I don’t think bringing in Reddick is worth it especially when he would only be a temporary fix and he’s seeking one last long term contract. Seeing Hutch go down was heartbreaking because he was the front runner to win DPOY but we shouldn’t pass up on making a splash when we’re a legitimate Super Bowl contender. If you listened to Rodgers explanation- he said as he was throwing the ball he was aiming for the redline and in the middle of this he saw that Williams was turning in so he made a last second adjustment with hopes of the ball landing but unfortunately he was not able to adjust fast enough and threw a bad ball. Hasson Reddick to the Lions will be a difficult trade, because if the Jets trade Reddick to an NFC team, the Jets will owe the Eagles a 2nd round pick. Jets will not trade Reddick for less than what they will have to pay the Eagles. Plus Lions will need to sign him.

Still the Jets are 2-4, could’ve easily been 4-2 right now. An 8-3 record probably gets the Jets in as a WC, it would take probably a 10-1 record the rest of the way or even running the table to beat Buffalo out of the division. A Rod won 3 road games in the playoffs in 2010 but the defense was clutch during that SB run. It could definitely happen, a very long shot. At the very least the Jets would have to go 12-3 including playoffs; the last team and only Jets team I’ve seen have that kind of run was the 1998 team when I truly believed we had the best team in football going 13-2 after an 0-2 start and having a 10 point lead over Denver in the AFC title game before the wheels came off. This Jets team would require a quantum leap in terms of cohesiveness and quality to match that one

Wiiliams will not be traded, Wilson will. Williams 1 to 2 year contract is more advantageous than giving Wilson over 40 million. Paying Wilson after Rodgers leaves makes no sense unless they have a QB in place. Wilson, in my opinion, is a good WR but needs to put on 20 pounds. Reddick is a tricky situation because they dont have to oay him and he keeps being fined. I think Reddick will sign once they trade Wilson and possibly other players.

Reddick backed out of the deal that was agreed to prior to the trade and had since turned down another deal for this season which would have been an increase in his salary, but it’s easier to say Lol Jets than use basic reasoning skills. He has to report or Jets retain his contract next season so he has zero leverage. He could have come in on a moderate pay raise this season, on a good defense, put up some good numbers than got paid in the offseason as FA all while having a chance to compete this season. Instead he tried to play hardball, he lost millions this year, made himself undesirable to other teams and lost his representation. But yes, clearly the Jets are the problem here.
