100kph according to the speedo, GPS speed would be more like 90kph. My USA model said I was doing 69mph but realistically it was doing 61mph

@@parkersgarage4216Lol.. Even just around $1,600, many people think it's expensive for a mini bike. But here the big brands like Kawasaki and BMW are very expensive, mainly taxes. Locally made things are cheap and imported things are taxed.

Sid lol 1600 for a mini bike isn’t shit. I’d buy one of those for 1600 all day just to murder it 😂😂😂. Stick w the local stuff if it craps out buy another lol. Def cheap enough for sure. The tnt is pretty good though tbh.

Hi Mike, I’ve never understood the appeal of the Honda Grom style bike. I’ve always thought why get one of those when you can have a standard 125 trail or street bike. What’s the fascination?
@MikesMachines
@MikesMachines 5 жыл бұрын
For me it's primarily the link with the mini bikes of the seventies. They are easy bikes to ride, great for stunting on and can go just about anywhere.

Harleys are flying at an even higher altitude over my head than the Grom. I learnt to ride on a hard tail 350 BSA Gold Star (that kicked back like a mule) and I imagine that fulfilled a lifetime of needs for any Harley experience. Ha ha.

@MikesMachines
@MikesMachines 5 жыл бұрын
I haven't tested the top speed with a GPS but I can say that a sustainable freeway cruising speed would be around 95 kph. Yes it will go higher (I had over 110 on the speedo) but put a few hills in the mix and you will be under 100 kph.
@jeopardy4100
@jeopardy4100 4 жыл бұрын
Many have noted that the mph is off. This is because the dash was programmed for a 10” wheel as opposed to the 12 the bike comes with. You can find instructions on KZbin, but basically hold both of the left side up/down buttons down while turning the key on. See cc. Use top button to shift columns. Bottom button to enter 123. See F010.0 Again use the top button to shift columns and the bottom button to change to F012.0 Press both buttons to save. Turn the key off to complete. Now go ride and find out top speed. 63 is about right for 160 lb. riders.

Would you recommend purchasing the 135 over the 125? Do you know what the main difference between the two are or is it just the engine size? Thank you
@MikesMachines
@MikesMachines 4 жыл бұрын
I'd go for the TnT135 over the TnT125 if it's available (some areas may only have one or the other). The slightly higher hp of the TnT135 is most welcome on the road. The 125 & 135 are pretty much the same apart from the engine size. But depending on where you live you may find the 125 model cheaper to register.

I like mine in every aspect and I am very pleased with the quality, however this bike has the worst headlight you could imagine. My bicycle has better lights. Would like to see if anybody has a solution, specially since I ride at night often. The high beam is like shinning a small flashlight. I guess Chinese have very good eyes. I can not see a damn thing in front of me further than 6 feet.

Honda Grom is made in Thailand. I just don't like the idea of getting baited into something that it isn't!; like the MG for example, being advertised as British in my Region, but it was also a defunct company that was acquired by a chinesium company. Our local dealers would not disclose this, its like they knew right from the start they would get discriminated. Anything made in china is dirt cheap, but not everyone see it as a "better value". ü
