Never heard of Koorui until someone mentioned it on Discord recently. Folk are always after this kind of thing as a second monitor for either work or play (or both). If this is retailing for around the 100 quid mark then there are much better options out there and with a bigger 24 inch screen too but, like you said, if you can get it for the lower 70 quid mark then its a canny viable option. The OSD navigation winds me up so much.....all those buttons when you could easily have a little joystick like LG and Iiyama models. Good little monitor if the price is right, thanks Mike and Kath.

Yeah this monitor is good but the navigation is a nightmare, especially as I have it in portrait mode, it takes me forever to change it 🤣🥴

I bought this monitor as a cheap secondary monitor (I got it for £59 I believe) and I put into portrait mode, with a different stand. As a secondary monitor, it works really well, got good colours and brightness, it's much better then my old small TV. I probably wouldn't use it as a main Monitor but it's been really good for me for my purpose. It also came with a 33% off Xbox game pass which was an added bonus. Overall I pleased with this monitor and for how I use it.

a lot of monitors now use 12v power. I have 4 Acer monitors, the last 2 have 12v power. ! main reason is it is easier to get safety certified for a common 12v Power Plug that can be used for multiple models, rather than submitting every monitor that uses 120v/230v direct input. BTW the proper name for the "Kettle Plug" is IEC-C13

This unknown brand might surprise you, they are not a big name as ASUS or such, but they are in the same league (a.k.a international brands) and like most other monitor brand, their newer models aren't imported in UK and EU due to those regions heavily reduced monitor import themselves. Barely any of 2021 and 2022 monitor models from a lot of brands are in the UK right now.

The fan on my DEEP COOL GAMMAXX GTE V2 WHITE cpu cooler is so bright that I had to replace it, but it was a fairly neutral white, unlike the blueish and pinkish tinge of the 2 different sets of Corsair SP120s I bought.

like bagga said it really comes down to the colour temperature of white that you want or need, the arctic ones edge on the side of blue, but if you are using software you can dial it in as you like, the uphere ones had a nice neutral tone but that was a couple of years ago now so the leds might have changed

That monitor probably operates in sRGB color space by default and anything that has seemingly accurate sRGB color will always feel "washed out", it's like headphones in a sense, natural headphones usually sound boring at first but will have pretty good detail, this also applied to color accurate monitor, it will look washed out, but any detail will look clearer than oversaturated/vivid monitors. Now I never tested this one, tested their 27E1Q, 27E1 and 27E2Q and all of them are really good with really good price tag, it's not like they are unknown brand either.
