I know I said it on the live stream but I think this is a damn fine looking case and a bargain for £45. The shape and size for of it compliment the 200mm fan ideally and I think there are plenty of options inside for cooling configurations. Serious considering this case for when I get all the components together for me new B550 build. Thanks for taking the time to do the video on this, Mike and Kath 🙂

Good review Mike of a smart looking case! Where was this wen i biilt my dters 12mths ago. Similarly scattervolt did a $500ish build in a veetroo which looks just like this. Think the fans look great & make it look expensive yet effective, ideal for a budget build. Get well soon Mike and Kath👍

Thanks for this overview Mike, I have been thinking of buying this case for a while so great to take a detailed look at it. I think for £45 it looks a great buy, with it being MATX you could save a bit of money on a cheaper MATX motherboard too for your build.

Looks like a nice case but feels a bit hard to pick over the Neutron Lab Stellar, Fusion etc. which are available for the same money, or less at the moment. This might make sense for a compact build where you don't want the tiny-motherboard-in-a-massive-case look.
@mikesunboxing2 жыл бұрын
yes the neutron labs range is hard to beat right now
@cptwhite2 жыл бұрын
I quite like this one, seems like a decent compact option - just make sure the PCI-E is in the top slot if you're going to install a higher power GPU (check PCI-E position on motherboard doesn't have a PCI-E x 1 slot above it), so there's enough space for the fans to intake. Might also be a good option for a blower style cooler. Good open fan vents as well so it won't impede exhaust air - an airflow optimised fan might be good for the back position - remove that tacky RGB fan and turn the LED off the front, I'm with Bob on that! Ryzen 1600's are available on AliExpress for the £77, build a budget 6 core/12 thread gaming system, with something like a GTX970 Blower or GTX1060 3Gb?
@mikesunboxing2 жыл бұрын
yes the 1600 is getting popular again, especially if you can get the AF version which is basically a 2600 downclocked
@cptwhite2 жыл бұрын
@@mikesunboxing I've found B450 boards are 10 a penny at the moment. The decent ones like the mortar and tomahawk can be had for a little as £50 to £60 new. The Gigabyte B450M DS3H would made a good budget candidate as it's available for £40ish at CCL, good for the 1600 though as it's natively supported. Sure the 1600 isn't high end, but the extra cores smooth out gameplay, and as long as it's above 75fps it's going to be a decent gaming experience

After a month of use, after turning on the machine, the machine stopped after one minute of operation. It was on the same branch with an ssd and either the ssd didn't work or there was no image and it stopped after a minute. I disconnected the fans and the problem went away. (600w bronze psu , (45A on 540w +12v branch)) The house is small, simple and beautiful, but those LED fans are crap. I didn't feel like playing with them, which one was bad, so I trashed them both. the montech air is one i have wanting to try, a few people have said the mesh on the front isn't that open, but like i said i haven't tried it for myself. the Atomic or the citadel mesh are both good choices and if they are the same price i would maybe edge towards the kolink

Hmm, the back of the Case seems to have a good lot of "depth" (judging by the shadow when you turned it around) for cable management, and yet photos with the back side panel screwed on make it look like there's none at all, like the Aerocool CS-107 Mini (which is quite frankly a pathetic case, soon to be replaced with a Thermaltake Versa H17; now THAT is cable management heaven).
