The only reason this scene is worth it is because Brooke finally admits the truth about herself. I never thought I'd say this, but everything Brooke is saying is #facts. Here she is admitting all her faults and issues, which I never thought would happen on B&B. Brooke is finally admitting everything Stephanie said about her is true cause deep down she's always known it was. But Taylor is not Brooke's "friend" or therapist and owes her nothing. She should've told her to kick rocks.

Here is Brooke begging for help from Taylor. Fast forward to a few episodes, Brooke will be judging Taylor. Brooke bad-mouthed Taylor and said that Taylor was not a good mother to Jack and that Jack needed a mother who will protect him. Taylor has always been a good and protective mother over her children till Bradley Bell took over. Bell destroyed Taylor just to make Brooke look better in the eyes of viewers. Hope and RJ were in the house all alone in the night while Brooke was sleeping along the road in her car drink, but Taylor was kind enough to talk to Brooke when she needed Taylor's help. Bell and his writers have always been biased. B&B is super one-sided. Brooke is always quick to judge Taylor and quickly forget her own BS. I feel like Bell's purpose was to destroy Taylor and her children. Fast forward to 2022, Brooke is still the same. Her storyline never changed. Now add Hope.

Ok, granted I'm a straight male, and only was a casual viewer, but seems to me a bit of a double standard where Brook and Taylor are concerned. Prior to her coming back in 2003, the _one_ indiscretion they had at Taylor's black mark was her one night stand with her colleague...and this was _when they thought they were going to die_ and she was _separated_ from Ridge after she all but _begged him_ to stay because *he left to go to Paris with Brooke*. Then she comes back, and to give her "edge" they had her pull a Tony Stark and battle alcoholism... which resulted in the death of Darla. Yet she owned up to that; no one seemed to say a **_damn thing_** when Brooke's son Rick's driving killed **_her_** daughter. Hell, Brooke **_herself_** was just driving drunk, and even *left her kids alone; by her own words, ENDANGERING them!* As to "Abandoning her marriage"... *this video HERE proves that yet AGAIN she had to contend with Brooke being an interference IN said marriage!* I mean, did Brooke not also try to _take_ that child? So that added stress had _nothing_ to do with her marriage crumbling? As to "cheating"...the *hell?????* Did you NOT just hear Brooke say she is "in love" with Taylor's husband? Brooke has cheated on Ridge with his brother, his father, and some guy named Grant! Yet _nobody_ seems to give Brooke issue for these faults. Look, no one in this incestuous series is "morally righteous", but I think that those shades of gray get _faaaaaaaaaaaaar_ darker with most characters , including Brook, than they ever did with Taylor. So yes, faults and all, she _does_ have class, especially compared to the rest of the people here.

Dude, Moms told me there was an avalanche or an earthquake or something....they thought they were going to *die.* People do odd shit when they think their lives are about to end, so it's not _that_ hard to understand. Besides, she and Ridge were separated at this time, anyway; she had _begged him_ to not go to Europe--- with Brooke, mind you---- for 2 months! The _only reason_ she was in the cabin in the first place was James took her for a drive to get her out of a depressed state *on the day that Ridge left her behind!* All things being even, if he had _stayed with her_ instead of putting the company first and trying to work out the damage his working with Brooke had caused for over 6 months, she wouldn't have _been_ in Big Bea in the first place! What I found most disturbing is that, after that incident when Taylor "died" a month later in a plane crash, Ridge finished mourning and then just hooked right back up with Brooke *not even 6 months* after she disappeared. Yet Ridge has [if memory served] ended up in some very _compromising_ positions with Brook even *while* he was married to Taylor....again...I think. What I don't get is the f***ed up double standard; Brooke got pregnant for both Ridge **_and_** Eric within a **_year_** of each other, as well as sleeping with her *daughter's husband* .... but that's forgivable. Taylor had sex with _one dude_ under *extreme* circumstances .... and she's a pariah? The only thing you could attribute to both of these women as morally questionable was being with Ridge, _then_ his father and brother...but in Taylor's case, she was more _pursued_ by those men; with Brooke, it was usually _mutual._ So again, why is it okay for Brook, but Taylor gets shamed for it?

Brooke figured. I have no choice but to go ahead and admit my faults and start turning on the water works so I can get Taylor to believe me and then hopefully I trick her telling Stephanie whatever. So I can get my kids back from Stephanie. This is my only solution. And Taylor showed compassion. Acted very Professional and look how Brooke did her. Brooke hasn't changed. She's still conniving and manipulating. And bad mouth Taylor every chance she gets. The Only thing she cares about is Ridge and Nick not paying attention to her. She's really not worried about the kids. Brooke has the nerve to tell Taylor about Nick and Ridge. And yes Brooke. You are a horrible mother. What kind of mother sleeps with her daughters husband and gets pregnant by them and then you do it Again after you told your daughter you wouldn't do it.

I wish there was a scene on the show now that sees Brooke and Taylor finally coming to an understanding and forming a friendship. They would both realize and admit their major faults and failings and realize that they are similar people and always have been. They would realize they were torn needlessly by men (Ridge and Nick) and that they were always put on different sides of the battlefield (by the war-caller herself, Stephanie). They would finally commit to being better people and to finally unite their families the way it should've been.
