Probably but please do not compare finance to fitness...
@goat6inboots2 жыл бұрын
@@fredericchopin8583 nobody compared finance to fitness, they compared a dedicated and focused mindset with the likelihood of success in general.
@fredericchopin85832 жыл бұрын
@@goat6inboots Yes but according to me one can't not compared everything to mindset or mentality. My friend who works in Finance is successful, as he worked a lot and had the ability to get a PHD in accounting but he couldn't bench 300 lbs even if he worked his ass off. Mike has an impressive physique and create great content but I doubt he could be a financial expert. I just want to say both found the field they are good at ;)
@goat6inboots2 жыл бұрын
@@fredericchopin8583 you make a fair point, we have natural aptitudes for certain career paths based on skills, I do think though that the impact of the right attitude and dedication is largely underestimated and I believe that your friend indeed could bench 300 lbs if he followed a steady progression for several years and ate properly. Perhaps Mike may not work in actuary but it doesn't mean he couldn't, for example, succeed in banking or as a trader, this is as much "finance" as accounting. You can have both, I can lift like that and also have a masters in quantitative finance from Imperial College so, without intending to boast, want to show that it's important not to pigeon hole people until they have dedicated themselves to a pursuit and their potential has actually been measured. But I do accept the point you are making also. Thanks.

I'm at 190 pounds right now and 15.2% BF, definitely the strongest I've ever been but am looking to lean down a bit to ideally 12%. My diet is pretty on point but going to give these a go on my "rest" day as I don't like to do nothing either. Thank you as usual Chest King.
@davidsenay28112 жыл бұрын
I would go for a specific bf% just get as lean as you can while maintaining or increasing strength and avoid getting shredded. With proper programming you should be able to increase your strength during the cut but if you get to the shredded state. All of that training was for nothing(shredded=muscle loss)

Very solid video, as I was specifically looking for ab exercises. I feel that lots of people just don't target abs enough, just lift weights and let them act as synergist, maybe doing some crunches. So this was interesting and I love how Mike has excellent form as a pro on all these exercises.

I've never taken online coaching seriously but I'm working hard to bring my lower abs out / get my body fat down without losing too much muscle. If it doesn't work in a month or two, I'll def look more into your coaching. Thanks for sharing this.

you realise its more relevant what you eat rather than how you train when it comes to abs ?
@LL-cb3it2 жыл бұрын
@@sflx4 Yup, both are helpful in that ab exercises can help the abdominal muscles appear more prominent, and diet is needed to reduce the body fat covering the musculature and allow them to be visible.

Try doing the cable crunches on a bench and pull your elbow all the way below your knees under the bench. You may need to find a pulley that you can raise high enough though.
