Nice guy, interesting story but folks, pls dont be naive: He surely did the right thing and worked his ass off for it BUT: 99% of us dont have his genetics. Not his jaw, nor his chin, nor his muscle/fat distribution, nor his eyes and so on. You can clearly see it on his youth pictures: He always used to be an "alpha" and "omega" while is friends where "mediocre" next to him. I rly wish him the best but pls dont make the mistake to take too much risks because someone like him said its good to go for it. Takeaways for me: 1) Once you choose a path, work your ass off to make it happen and don't give up on it until you've truly put it in. 2) Be honest with yourself when you set goals. 3) Never be afraid to tell yourself you want more from life. 4) Work with what you've been given; don't change yourself to fit your aspirations, change your aspirations to fit yourself. 5) Be humble and show gratitude for those who have helped you get to where you are.

Fitness has transformed my life both physically and mentally. The risks you have taken have inspired me too, I am changing my entire career right now because I was unhappy as a retail manager making a cushy salary. Its not enough if I'm not happy! I am 30 years old and I feel like you have helped me immeasurably. THANK YOU MIKE. YOU MOTIVATED ME TO BE A PERSON THAT WANTS MORE OUT OF LIFE!

Ngl this is my first comment on a KZbin video, but it’s something which had too be done, despite how cringey it may sound. Mike your my biggest inspiration and a role model in some ways your like a big brother too me. I can remember when I first started training I always admired your physique and your technique behind it. But the more I get too know you the more I see myself... I start university in September where I’m planning to study marketing, I literally have the same mind frame as you, where I want too be my own boss and not be someone else’s puppet. I could write another paragraph but I don’t want too bore you out and ramble on forever plus it’s past my bedtime and my mum would kill me if she finds out I’m still awake.. but mike thank you for making KZbin videos and being here... cringe yep... but your really providing a pathway for me to get to a good position in life, and I hope one day I can be in the same position as you.

I am a 62 year old woman who is very curious, so I had to watch your video, and then I had to tell you that I enjoyed your story tremendously for several reasons, but I will mention 2 of them. One of the reasons is about the way you express the humbleness you genuinely carry in your heart, another is the way your story shows how you listen to your heart…. If one day my husband and I visit Dubai, I hope to sit down in a cafe with you and share each other’s memories! I am sure we will meet as if we were old friends! I believe your parents are very proud of you! You rock! - Shirlene

Thanks for this video man. The ending for me is the best just telling me to take risks and I deserve better because I truly believe I am great at what I do.

Thank you for sharing your story. I felt identified in some of the situations you shared. You truly took the best out of each opportunity, faced uncertainty directly and reused every single experience you had in your past. Taking notes and inspiration from this video! 🙌

Thanks Mike . You are a big inspiration to many of us that wanted to live there dreams but some how long the way we got contented with jobs we got into and for many we lost the fight to fight for our dreams because of things that happened along the way in our lives , we got hopeless and lost our spark ,we lost our desire to go get what's ours . Thanks for sharing your life story's of never giving up and always looking for the next things to do to satisfy your heart .
