Could Keep a green anole with a pair of mourning gecko and 4 dart frogs, and a red eye tree frogs in tank together, if so what size tank. And what species of dart frogs.
@MikeTytulaАй бұрын
You would need a really big tank, personally I wouldn't risk it as the red eye would likely try and pester the other animals, especially at night when they are active.

I’m not so sure there is ever a way to kill thrips in one go… unless you use systemic insecticide that goes up into the plant. But even with those sometimes they need to be reapplied and are incredibly toxic. IPM is your best bet and quarantining every new plant. I often just throw away cheaper common plants if they are infested so I can focus my efforts into cleaning the sensitive rare species I own. There are a few tanks that I just started all the way over and provided fake plants until I had some plants that had gone through quarantine and were growing free of pests and pesticides.
@JleejjkАй бұрын
I also tried beneficial nematodes and predatory mites with mixed success. It is expensive to buy them and you need to buy multiple batches every few weeks or so to actually get rid of pests. The nematodes seemed to clear some infestations after one treatment, but it only worked for some enclosures not all. I believe soil has to be consistently moist for them to work effectively. Predatory mites tend to be the best bet if you want to treat a cage with animals in it though.
@MikeTytulaАй бұрын
Thanks for all the information! I appreciate it, what nematodes did you pick up?
