In Australia, Burger King operates under the name "Hungry Jack's", because the BK name was already taken when they started operating here in 1971. And so, when they launched the Big King here a few years ago, it was called... the Big Jack. McDonald's didn't take kindly to that and sued, and the Big Jack is no longer sold here. =)

I found your channel during that thing we're not allowed to talk about. Back then you would order a bunch of everyday food, sometimes cook food at home while explaining what you're making & how to make it so we could try it in our homes. Then you would sit down and tell stories, folklore, ghost stories or just things about your family & your childhood while eating. It was very interesting & enjoyable and made your channel down to earth & unique. It was like sitting at the table with a friend or family member sharing a meal. Now your channel has changed to traveling around the world, staying in luxurious hotels & feasting on extravagant foods that most of us will never be able to afford. That's great that you're in a position to have these experiences, but your channel is becoming more like most of the other travel channels where we are invited to live vicariously through you. I hope you will take your channel back to it's humble roots.

After watching several of Mike's videos I have come to the conclusion the restaurants in Europe serve better quality food than the same chains in America. I live in Dallas, PA and all the food I have ordered from Burger King is always cool to cold never warm or hot. Same for McDonalds. The only burger warm to hot is the quarter pounder. All the other burgers are cool to cold. I wish I knew how the people in Europe receive better quality food?

One trick we use is, we order the burger without pickles, fries without salt etc. Make it so that the place has to make the order for you, instead of giving you the order items from under the lamps.

That's the consequence of them pre-cooking so many of their standard orders that the food may have been sitting there for minutes, cooling off. Notice even Mikey talks about making sure he got to the BK shortly after it opened so that he got food that was freshly cooked, because while the quality of the ingredients may be better in Europe they still do the same things and pre-cook things like the burgers that they know will sell so there's always the chance of getting luke-warm food.

@@dutchbiker4825 I like the idea though I want my pickles and salty fries. lol.. Plus it does mean your order will take a few more minutes. Not so bad if you have the time and are ordering at the counter, but not the greatest idea if you are in a hurry and in the drive-thru.

@@dutchbiker4825 yup. I always say no pickles. McDonald's are sub par ones anyway. BKs are better. Or if it's something w mayo which I dislike I'll say no mayo.
