This cutscene animation cinematics is taken from the new Trailblaze Mission "The Fool Always Rings Twice" with the update title "Then Wake to Weep" for Version 2.2 recorded in HD quality and English VA. This clip shows Misha a.k.a. Mikhail Char Legwork the Watchmaker sitting down for a final farewell. This means Clockie is set for a new adventure with the Astral Express crew as a new member of the Nameless. I think mikhai rather let us inherited the hat as a nameless not watchmaker bc the hat was given to him as a farewell gift of the predecessor astra express so given the hat symbol of passing the torches for the modern nameless

So amundsen - mikhail - mc like passing the torch and the torch is the hat to the modern nameless so it more of a nameless legacy

You're forgetting that the Trailblaze path was the one that fight for penacony's freedom and own it before the Order path from the family corrupted it to something worse than ipc prison. The legacy was needed pass down from generations to generations which TB now inherits. Hence why Himeko say which path between Akivili(who the Watchmaker follows) and Ena's(who the Family follows) will hold the future of penacony.

Misha being one of my favorites from the second he was previewed to be playable because I just thought he was fascinating and cute… Then I played this and started actually crying. Clockie wanting to go on another adventure with him and him saying he can’t because he’s staying there broke my heart into pieces.

The foreshadowing for it was great and it made sense, but making the player have to walk to his final resting spot as him hurt. Not even going into the things like what happens if you return to this spot later or if you check Misha’s visitor book message afterwards…

i hate how they ruined his story. it was so good up until they decided to kill him off for no reason other than shock factor. misha was a different person than mikhail at this point, he left the dream bubble and had his own hopes and dreams and relationships. it's so annoying to feed him memories that aren't his own and then make him kill himself just to "pass the torch," when instead "passing the torch" could have meant that a young dreamer gets his dream of trailblazing on the express and the legacy of mikhail is carried on. genuinely so disappointing :(

​@@incominginklingThat's what you missed of Misha (as a absolutely Misha fan since the start) is that Misha did want to Trailblaze but once he got his memories back he also remembered all of his trailblazing experiences because remember Misha and Mikhail are the same person, Misha was happy and satisfied because his dream DID come true, he just forgot he already experienced it but once he got his memories back he also remembered about his Trailblazer experience. I am a bit sad because of what happened but as said before the Memoria is what helps the Dream Bubble to exist if I remember correctly, you can't use those outside of Penacony regardless though. They only work in Penacony even if you can take them away. So even if he boarded the express because he wanted to keep trailblazing the chances of him being physically there would have been most like near zero.

Depression arc could work, finding an incomplete history of their path or reading their own script from elio and realizing despite what they may choose, someone will suffer or die and its all out of their hands. Elio knows the trailblazer would react poorly and perhaps might develop nihility powers, and as we know nihility is immune to other paths perpahs being the final key to them being able to defy fate and eventually beat Nanook, a final hail mary, a final gamble from Elio who saw now ending in which they won, hoping with nihility they stand a chance.

Please, I did that way before this even happened. Being a DPS Ice character who is a literal bellboy in every way, even how he fights, immediately made me want to do so (and he's actually strong. SO much break gauge damage he can do from his Ultimate). It's just so interesting, funny, adorable, and fun. Now with the way he was written, it made me all the more pleased and proud of how well I already treated him.

At first I didn't care for Misha and I honestly found Clockie a little annoying, but SOMEHOW the short sequence with Misha and the Watchmaker's story had me in shambles. They really manage to make Misha one of my favorite characters in one scene. His talk with Clockie before the cutscene and the philosophy of the trailblaze and THIS CUTSCENE is just peak. Idk about everyone else but this has gotta be one of my favorite part of 2.2.

Tldr correct me if I'm wrong Based on the Story It is revealed that Misha was the Watchmaker or The Father of Penacony, and if you retrace back from the very first begging of the Trailblaze Quest in PENACONY, Only Caelus/Stelle And Misha Can See Clockie Because Misha told that Only Innocent Mind or Kid mind like Us Trailblazer cna See him and clockie.. So to get to the Point, Misha Was Just a Fragment of Mikhail because Misha Back then said he wanted to Venture and Trailblaze with us, Knowing He was the Nameless Who Already Trailblazer and Ended his Journey. Making Misha's Identity Revealed now as the Former Nameless, Father of PENACONY and the Watchmaker The Hat we Just Received from Mikhail Leg Work made us the Modern Watchmaker of PENACONY and Xipe Gazed to us because she wants to Witness the Future of PENACONY in a Bright light
