Mikki Mase is a professional gambler and former amateur motocross champion. Mikki grew up in the orbit of guys like J-Law, Izzi and Stroupe and after a promising amateur career he moved towards one of his other passions in life, gambling. I want to hear more about his days of Moto like what years he raced because I may have went to Larreta’s a couple times raising him . When a casino tried to take someone to court the judge just threw it out,saying that the players have done nothing wrong. It's not interfering with the cards in any way,it's simply using your brain. The trouble is that Casinos can refuse you entry for any reason they like,they don't have to let you in,but you can't get into any trouble for counting cards,never has been or will be illegal to use your brain 😅

If something is illegal then it's up to 5 years,even if it's your first offence. He said any cheaters are jailed,but if you're counting cards they just ask you to leave as they don't like it,but it's not illegal, if it was illegal then I'd be in jail.

Counting cards is not cheating, or illegal. They just call you an advantage player, and turn you away at the card tables. They have the right to refuse service. I have seen card counters using their chip stacks to track the count.

People's idea of the sophistication of (most) casino anti-counting measures is kind of funny (Mikki included). It's way dumber than employing card counters and special software. Truly, in most places, if you do too many things that looks "card counter-y" -- even if you're doing it wrong and have negative EV -- you get backed off.

I doubt the major casinos have a card counter on staff. Last I heard they have software monitoring the games that automatically "counts" the cards and identifies when there is a player advantage. At that point they'll monitor players to see if they're changing their game play to their advantage. I have a very difficult time believing this dude made millions by card counting. Most blackjack games now have enough countermeasures to make it not worth the effort (multiple decks, earlier reshuffling, etc)

They do in a sense. its not hard for security to re-run hands and count. They can take as much time they want, use a calculator etc. Theres not as many good games. But theres still lots of profitable games. Also lots of the more profitable ones are higher limits, not always fun when its a bad count, but when its a 5/10/25K Max etc you can bet say 2,3,4 hands when the count is good and have a potentially good haul. Also remember once cards are dealt, if they think I'm counting and I got 20's vs a dealers face 6. They cant make me discard my bets or not pay me if I win.

Card counting is still alive and well. The security does have counters on staff. They do use software as well that enhances their security. I will say though, if you count and the casino finds out they treat you like a criminal for using your brain and using a skill you learned in kindergarden
