Hi Mikko, I hear in your playing much richness, as in Your language is still growing and I can hear how much you study! Very inspiring and very musical how you play!!!

Thanks a lot for this video. Really informative. The Aebersolds have swinging rhythm sections and they are great for that. Aebersold is mainly an alto sax player as you mentioned, and he also plays other instruments. Great educatior.

The fact that Irealpro can be transposed & edited is great, but it doesn't swing! I'm a big fan of " Drum Genius". As a guitarist, I tend to lock in with the drummer. These are great loops that really swing. Some of the patterns (Elvin Jones, etc) are pretty challenging. This app has really tightened up my time.

29:10 . Would it be a plagiarism or coincidence of Chico Buarque in Choro bandido? I don't know...

I have it but it was too limiting for me. I would prefer the short licks and also cycling within a key is better since it has a 2-5-1 in both major and minor.

“Tonal Cycle of Fifths In 12 Keys.0 iReal Pro has that if you download the jazz playlist and then it’s in “exercises.” I hear a lot of complaints about iReal; but I make it sing and it’s great because you can just open it up on your phone which is normally right in front of you. I have other apps with real instruments also; but yeah my phone is always in front of me. Take care and you’re right it’s a great practice routine; I use it myself and it’s hard to get lost.

I have a question? Do you know the blues montgomeryland funk by wes. I wished you would use this song in a breakdown it was what got me into jazz and one of the greatest jazz blues and for the life of me dont understand why more people dont know wes montgomerys earlier stuff.
