Holy crap yess!!!! I was literally thinking this week that I’d like to see you tackle Romeo and Cinderella because all of the really good covers I’ve heard rather aren’t sung by Miku or aren’t the original. This is going to be the best thing ever. Edit: okay I think this cover kind of cursed me. I was listening to the premiere as I was heading home and the second it started raining in the pv, it started raining where I’m at and when the final chorus hit, it started POURING. Like I couldn’t see anything, and it’s the freaking afternoon and it’s 66 degrees outside. I’m home now but you don’t have to do me like that Miku. But in all seriousness freaking amazing cover. This song and your tuning is a match made in heaven. I love the emotional weight behind Miku’s voice and the little growls and melody changes you added. Also as much as I joked about the rain in the music video, this is honestly the best music video you’ve done. I love the little filters and edits you added and hey Miku can finally wear her iconic eyeliner outside the thumbnail! Overall phenomenal job.

i've stumbled upon a few of these covers just now (ghost rule, lost one's weeping, and now this ofc) and i love how miku sound older, though im not the biggest fan of some of the more "extreme" vibratos (at times feels overused and forced), while others fit right in like they were always meant to be there, as if someone was actually singing. overall though i can see myself coming back to this cover no problem, maybe even more than the original
