I wanted him to choose Miku because she's my favorite by I'm ok with it being Yotsuba since she was my second favorite. Miku had the most growth since the beginning (Nino being second and became my 3rd favorite because of that) but Yotsuba did so much for him and the rest of the sisters. She was nice to him from the first time they met (both in Kyoto and again 5 years later), she always had his back, was the first to give studying a chance and helped him get closer to the other sisters. She has a great personality as well. She's fun, outgoing, selfless, caring and puts others needs and wants ahead of her own.

While I like yotsuba, growth is important and yotsuba had no real buildup or development compared to the others, he didn’t spend as much time with her nor connect as well as the others as well, she won by doing practically nothing…overall it’s a great story but just a tragic end and unlike what most think it actually essentially erased the lesson this series tried to teach about letting go of the past because he practically ran back to it going to her Ichika-an ok choice but they didn’t connect as well either but she seemed to be able to help fuutarou grow in terms of facing his feelings Nino-an excellent choice while she was nasty to him fuutarou was patient with her until she got to know the real him and proved to be the boldest of the bunch and he seemed to be able to open up to her more Miku-another excellent choice and seemed to have great chemistry together it was really just her timid personality that made her fall short over her silent efforts instead of being more forward about them Yotsuba-a great support kind of person but really comes out as more of the goofy little sister and she didn’t grow much Itsuki-she seems more like a pal over anything else but she is fun to be around

Even tho both Miku or Nino lost (yes, two of my faves) Im glad though, it ties with the main lore of the story, though Miku was the 2nd one to fully trust Fuutaro (of course, because Yotsuba was the first because she recognized him from childhood days) & Nino was the very first person to confess to Fuutaro that she loves him (ignoring the fact on one of the early episodes that Yotsuba already confess her love to switch it as a joke). I was both shocked af and kind of happy that Yotsuba was the chosen one. (Yotsuba ties in with the lore between Fuutaro and Yotsuba's childhood moments, the very first to trust Fuutaro on tutoring them, and the least one to really show direct affection towards Fuutaro, well until the bell part; yes that was Yotsuba who kissed him - was stated in the movie btw, it all ties well in their story. Im kind of sad for both Nino & Miku, but glad Yotsuba finally gets the spotlight, I mean hell, she was always the least one to show affection because she was always so busy with stuff so Im kinda glad she got the W. But fanfic wont suffice to wish a "happy ending" to both Nino and Miku. (Dont get me wrong, the movie and series ended well and happily with all quints still being sisters and enjoying their own lives 🙂) Man, I enjoyed how this shows story unfolded 😊
