I've only worn mine once and that was the day it was delivered. 🥴 I still live in hope that I'll be well enough to get out and make use of this awesome jacket. I like that jacket and it’s very well made so even tho the price has gone up, for folks who feel the cold, it’s still a very good buy 👍 Love the German camo. Watched Sewing Bee last night and thought of you when one of the tasks was to make a garment from different camo fabrics 😁 xx

Lovely camo pattern on there - quite similar to a lot of German pattern camo😎🤠👍. If I was living in the South of Australia or Tasmania it'd be an awesome jacket, just a bit too hot here in Queensland 🐊🐍🦈🦂🦎🐡🕷🕸🐨😓😰!! If I was still in the U.K. I'd buy that over the HM forces gore text jacket in a heartbeat😊👍. Yikes!!!😲$260 Aussie dollars online😞‼️

Yes the camo is the current German issue, although the is 4,5, or 6 dot/colour versions.

If it fits your needs and you don't mind the cost, that's what counts. I think the multi system saves you quite a bit of money regardless. Got myself a dpm lightweight goretex jacket for £10 the other day for wet weather and I was surprised how good it is 😁

Ive had mine for about two years now as well and it's still my favorite jacket, i wear the fleece on its own quite a bit, or a flannel jacket underneath. I love it,great peice of kit, have you given your a wash yet??? Ive been on the fence of washing mine before i put it away for the summer

Same as other clothes from this company. I recently bought an ACU Coat Jacket in size XXXL. I thought it would be European size, but it was US size. I can put a thick fleece under the jacket. Therefore, I had to sew additional Velcro on the cuffs so that I could close them. It was a bit worse with the BDU pants. I had to narrow each leg by 5 cm because I looked like in Arab belly dance pants. :)

Mine came through today and the hood seemed a bit odd, with elastic within the lining which meant it didn't sit right on the head. I reckon that these elastics are to hold the hood in place over a combat helmet (which I'll never be wearing). I cut these elastics out and it sits much better.

Yes you are right, its to fit over a helmet. I dont use the hood very often so it dont bother me. I am normally in a leather brimmed hat. 😁

I think it would depend on what you have under it. The military very much rely on a layering system.

Large for normal use, XL if you wanted plenty of layers under it. 👍

Depende de lo que tengas debajo. 10C y más, solo se necesita una camisa. Con camiseta interior, camiseta y sudadera con capucha he estado bien a -5C.

I’m thinking about getting one of these and I was just wondering what build you are for reference. You mentioned that an XL might be a bit too big and I’m not really a big person so I was wondering if you would be willing to share your height and weight

180cm tall and around 82kg. XL is technically the right size for me, but the jacket is designed for more layers to be worn under it in extreme cold. The large would of been ok for normal use.
