I love this mascara and the original They're Real.... however, it wears best over the They're Real Lash Primer. I'm a nurse, work 13 hr shifts and no smudge or flakes with 2 coats of lash primer and 2-3 coats of mascara. Love it!! Try with their primer!!

Another lash technique I discovered when applying mascara is to gently press on your eyelid crease until it makes your lashes flip up. It lengthens your lashes better than doing the closing eye technique. Start at top of lashes and then work your way down to the bottom. It works for me really well. But of course the lash brush makes a huge difference.

The wand looks like Thrive mascara wand. A trick I have to use is coat the lashes, and "hold" them up, while closing my eyes, with my index fingers as they dry.. I have this, but it flaked and fell A HEAP also. Trending or viral is generally not necessarily a good thing.. Still using Thrive with Kiss magnetic liner and lashes.. Tried and true. 💜🇨🇦

I'll be honest, this sounds super gimmicky to me. Even if the wand is magnetically charged, there's nothing metallic or magnetic about your lashes to react with the charge for the wand/formula so I don't understand how it is even supposed to work. If the charge on the wand is meant to react with the opposite charge of the formula then how would there be any product on the wand to start with? I wasn't great at science and it's been a while since school so that could just be me being a bit thick lol but I don't get it. If anyone wants to explain (in layman's or 'talking to a very slow-witted toddler' format 😂) I will be happy to learn something new. Overall I just feel that so many products recently are making these big, bold claims and blinding us normal non-sciencey folks with big words and "information" (and joking aside, I'm a university graduate so not totally stupid lol) just to get us to buy them. The beauty industry seems to focus less on the quality of the products and repeat customers and more on making more expensive products that "go viral" on social media to make everyone snatch them up immediately and not care if they actually work and people buy them a second time because there will almost instantly be another 'must-have' product that they're selling. This is why what you, and other genuinely honest reviewers online, do is so great (although I do feel bad for how much money you guys must waste on useless products). It would be really interesting to see which 'viral' products that you have bought in the past year or so have actually turned out to work, and how many have been a complete waste of money.

@@lara-hall yeah that was my firsf thought too but they already have the magnetic eyeliner for that. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they just stuck a magnet on the packaging of their regular mascara and just said it was a new product - she should get a fridge magnet and see what happens to the product and wand when they're put together lol!

I asked this on another video but didn't get and answer..but I bought the Cover girl clean mascara and why do my eyelashes go flat after I apply it or any mascara? I curl my lashes then apply the mascara and my eyelashes just go flat and I can't get them to curl...I don't have small lashes just regular I guess.. any tips would be appreciated

Milana, so what's your most favorite mass-market mascara? I've had this smudging and flaking problem with all mascaras except for Korean ones. But Korean mascaras (those that don't smudge) don't give you such beautiful look.

Every body has differences in both their eyes, but due to the lighting she is using, it shows more.. if you check pictures taken with normal camera on her fb you will see that eyes look the same color.. I think there is even a special app that reflect all the color in your eyes and then you will see that almost everybody has 2 diff eyes. I have green/Brown, one is more green and one more brown

I always have trouble When I put my mascara on my bottom lashes Because it's smudges, especially with these masks. so I stopped putting mascara on my bottom lashes which looks funny but I'm trying to avoid the smudging but even the top smudges with these damn masks? Man O man....after application, I had this mascara on my shopping list! Loved how well your lashes were lushed up! But when you came back and had fallout and black splotches...i said uh oh...oh no!!! And have removed it from my list. I’m going to stick to my lash ink and my light wispy false lashes. They take a minute to put on, but the compliments are a plenty, as people get up in my grill trying to see if they a fake?!?! Lol. Hi Tena... you would k....lol... it’s magic when complete! Lol. But can be a pain in the process. First thing is I use the Las ink on my real lashes to cover the blonde or lighter tips.the ink lasts several days. Once dry I very carefully paint a thin-thin line of glue where the lashes and skin meet. Try not to hit the lashes...I then use both hands to (Gently, man handle) lol the fake lashes at both ends and lay them on the eye lashes and press back into the glue. I press and adjust so they look like they are lashes coming out of my skin and. Finely lined. No mascara on them, but the lash ink that was applied on the real lash tips, makes them blend. I curl a bit, check eyeshadow and brows, and lips, and out the door I go!

You should totally do it! It's a little tricky to do yourself But after the 1st time I totally got the hang of it and my lashes are blonde so I will tint them black afterwards and I don't even have to wear a mascara for a few days until the tint starts wearing off. It is so amazing! it's changed my life. I was wearing last extensions for 5 years until quarantine And this makes me satisfied enough that I probably will never go back

Benefit mascara is a watery formula that dries quickly. It definitely is better after 2 weeks when it thickens.

Maybe coat here means “dip”? She only has two dips for each eye. But she comb the lashes multiple times with the excess product left on the wand. Just my thought..

I think it is better when they start out wet because they tend to last longer. A formula that starts dry dries out too fast and becomes flakey quicker whereas the wetter formulas after a couple of weeks become really lovely and don't get to that too dry stage for ages.
