I can't tell any difference at all just by looking definitely not a $500 difference. If there was a hair tool that was actually worth that big of a price tag I would possibly consider it, this just isn't it plus it's too heavy and bulky for my think hair and bad back. My favorite thing about it being cordless, I'm betting will be seeing more and more.

Being cordless you have more moveability and now I don't have the cord hanging on my wall. The heating plates won't harm your hair. You can also regulate the temperature.

Bummed that Dyson hair tools aren’t dual voltage which means you can’t use it overseas with an adapter. You would need a converter and that would be a gamble risking damaging the product. When I moved from the US to the UK I had to sell my dryer because Dyson said not to use a converter. T3 curling irons are dual voltage so I can use it when I travel back to the states and use an adapter here. Curious to know how long it holds the charge. If it’s Iike a NuFACE you can take it on a week trip and not have to recharge it.

So on March 17th she posted the curling her hair with the Dyson flat iron video. And in the very beginning she says that " if you have seen my first video, you know that I said I wanted to curl my hair with the dyson flat iron". Which means that she did indeed post a video of her using the dyson flat iron to straighten her hair prior to March 17th. So why is she re-uploading videos? Or making another one of this supposedly being her first time using it?
@cikowalski4 жыл бұрын
All dyson batteries are designed to be kept charging at all times. That is what I do with my cordless vaccum, and I have never had any problems. Also for $500, I would return that scratched flat iron for a new one. At that price, it needs to be perfect!

Took an hour to do what my cheap straightener (1/10th the cost) does in 15 minutes, primarily because the charge ran out in 10 minutes when i was done styling only 1/3rd of my hair. Plugged in to finish the rest and it refused to heat up, with the power button going off repeatedly, blinking every 5 minutes. I kept it aside to charge for 5/10/15 minutes and then re-start but faced the same issue... Resulting in an hour wasted and half-done hair. Talking to the customer care service today, i was told to use it in plugged mode for charging and not full use- who has that kind of time always? Sometimes you just want to plug and start right away! The cordless feature should be a bonus, not the primary form of use. Pros: i definitely didn't get that burnt hair smell while using it and it gave some volume to my hair, instead of making it flat like other straighteners. Major cons are the charging issues and the weight of the device ( my neck is strained since last night). It also heats up in the lower half- battery area after some time, making it uncomfortable to hold! The time taken waiting for it to charge to become usable just isn't worth it! And the neck sprain and hand spasm lasted a week because of how heavy it was! Return took ages and the refund happened after 6-7 weeks of follow up. I'm a huge airwrap fan and had high hopes from this one, but was really disappointed!

Greetings from Texas, beautiful Milana! I need advice from you and/or the ladies and gentlemen on this channel. My hair is almost the exact color and texture of yours and I'd like to know if you had to pick a straightening tool among the Revlon One-Step Dryer and Volumizer, the Tymo Ionic Straightening Brush (the newest model) or the original Tymo Ring, which one would you choose? I'm 65 years old and my hair is mid-length, barely touching the top of my shoulders. This is probably the longest my hair has even been, because I have worn some version of the very short pixie 99% of my life. I can only afford one straightener (I have cancer and the cost of the meds is outrageous), and there's no way I could spend $500 on the Dyson. Thanks to anyone and everyone who could offer their opinion(s)!! P.S. Milana, you are positively glowing! Motherhood looks wonderful on you!! xoxo

First off $500 dollars for a flat iron is absolutely ridick!! For me anyways, y'all can do with yours what you like. I've have tried so many flat irons on my hair before. First I'm half Mex and half German (so you know thick), have a very bad back, and if the iron pills my hair at all, gives me a headache (which is weird cuz I don't have a sensitive head), so it has to be efficient and not take 7xs. I've tried expensive, not $500 expensive, and I've tried cheap, but the best one I've tried is an old Revlon of my bff's. Temp goes up to 460 I think (could be wrong), I do mine on 420, and it gets board straight!! I can never find it anywhere and that's why I use hers, when I want to straighten my hair. $500 dollars, I don't think so, I'd rather put $500 worth of groceries in my fridge.
