I love Milani's 2-in-1 foundation (I'm shade 01). To help with the oxidizing and pores, I set my makeup with Airspun's loose powder, set it with Infallible setting spray, then go over lightly with L'Oréal's translucent powder. It helps with the cakiness as well as the pores. :)

+Nothing Catchy manic panic has a white foundation that you can use to make a foundation lighter. I've heard really great things about it and I believe it's relatively cheap if I remember correctly!

+Nothing Catchy I don't think it will lighten it most probably will give it a dewy illuminating glow effect.... I know body shop does some lightning darkening foundation drops .... don't think there too expensive either ... hope that helps

This foundation was a hit and miss for me! Sometimes it decides to be beautiful and smooth and other times it makes my pores look like an orange! I think it looked beautiful on you on camera though, maybe a great filming day foundation! xo

If you don't use a primer already . Try a primer and it should help with pores being noticeable

Unfortunately it oxidizes like crazy on me. I can barely pull of using 01 creamy vanilla and I am more warm beige than porcelain skinned. Such a shame as wear and tear is really good.

I love this foundation! I use the shade 01 Creamy Vanilla. It is slightly too yellow but i do use concealer that lightens up my face as well as powder and it looks great! I also use a pore minimizing primer since I have big pores and it does a great job and lasts perfect up until about 8 hours.

I love it with a BB and don't need a primer and have huge pores (I'm 48 years old). I wear it about literally all day way over 12 hours. Love it better than MAC Studio Fix liquid or pressed fix plus. Sorry it didn't work for you and it doesn't oxidize on me and 3 of my friends love it the same. I'm a makeup artist since 1994 and been using but MAC because I loved it for full coverage and my clients preferred it and have it in my kit always. I also have oily skin by the way and acne prone skin and it hasn't made a difference. Love all your videos! 🙋🏻👍🏼❤️💄💋💕

I was obsessed with this foundation for a few weeks, thought it was my new holy grail. But then i kept noticing it would break apart and pores would show through a lot. After a few hours my whole face would be so oily and sticky, and i don't even have really oily skin. But when you first apply it, it's gorgeous and very full coverage. Still searching for a perfect foundation!

Milani Cosmetics are more catered toward POC or anyone with olive undertone! This doesn't mean you can't wear it lol I'm w3 in L'Oréal true match and 01 creamy vanilla in Milani matches! They also have 00 a new lighter shade!! Ok so this foundation will cling on to any dry patches but exfoliate well and have an almost oily base! Oily skin will love this foundation! I use HALF of a pump and it covers all! To not let it oxidize, use a lot of translucent powder as a lot of setting spray! Ok I'm out

Jess CandyX hi I have combo skin so I can relate! I use a long process for every foundation I wear and I think it might help you. First the primer then when applying foundation either spray the sponge with setting spray or spray your entire face after applying foundation (I feel like this helps a lot) wait for it to dry a little bit and then apply the rest of your makeup, powder your oily zones and then use setting spray again :)

I use this I bought it at Walmart a couple of months ago. It does oxidize a bit so I tried to go with a shade lighter. I use it with a beauty sponge and definitely a pore filling primer and it is amazing! I really recommend it and yes I have huge pores but it works!!!

I'd be interested to see an update with this foundation with using a pore primer because I have the same problems with my pores coming through, I also think I would go a shade lighter than usual if it oxidizes that bad even though it goes more orangey I find going a shade lighter to help. I have normal skin, with an oily t-zone and I agree with pretty much all your pros and cons. I did find using a little less product, applied with a sponge and setting with a translucent powder (rimmel stay matte) makes it pretty perfect and wear all day.

I love this foundation! I've got heavy dark marks and a darker neck area and this foundation did it ALL! I used this every day for a week, in hot ass ORLANDO, at Disney world, where I was out from 8 am to midnight! It lasts and covers amazingly! The oxidation wasn't even terrible! A little goes a long way. It's holy grail for me personally.

I just bought the 02 shade after hearing good reviews by other KZbinrs. However, I found this oxidized more than any other foundation I have ever tried. It quickly turned my face oompah loompah orange and I immediately took it off. I might try it again in the summer when I am tan but for now I am going to see if I can return this to my local CVS. I also expected it to be cheaper than it was. I know drugstore foundations have gotten more expensive but I thought $10.50 was pricey for Milani.

She actually hasn't. her body is brown because of the fake tan. but if you look at the face or when she hasn't much tan on you can see the read tones in her face and around the eyes. plus she has slight orangy hair naturally anderen freckles all over, which yellow skined people doesnt have often.

I have very dry skin, warm/yellow undertones and this foundation is my go to. I used the borjois healthy mix before this but it was more pinky and could leave me looking ashy. The Milani however is amazing. It does have moisture to it but that works for my very dry skin and i have small pores so ive never noticed it settling there, and while i do have some texture ive noticed if i use a sponge for application it spreads it so much better it doesn't cling. With my brush it can get a bit more cakey.

Give it a go. Her skin might react differently to the foundation. I bought it and love it! Of course I got a shade lighter since I already knew it oxidizes and I used a translucent powder to set my face. It wasn't cakey on me at all. I have dry skin by the way.

I'm normally a classic ivory and used this in vanilla, the lightest shade. it starts off straight yellow and turns orange on me. definitely sticks to dry patches, but every where else it looks pretty good as long as I fake tan as it did oxidize quite orange on me.

I have combination skin and I love this foundation!! Originally I bought shade 02 and it oxidized like crazy on my skin, so I bought the lightest shade (01) and it matches me perfectly!! As long as you prime your skin really well and add powder, for me the foundation doesn't really settle into lines or pores, and you have to apply a small amount to avoid the cakiness as well.

I didn't read any other comments so other people might have already said this but you REALLY should try it with a beauty blender (I actually prefer the Real Techniques one over the BB for this foundation). I tried it with a brush at first and really didn't like it but then tried it with the sponge and to me it was like night and day and applying it that way has now made it my ALMOST holy grail foundation! It looks flawless!! I absolutely love it!!! It is actually the first drugstore foundation that has really worked for me. Everything else has just looked horrible on me! And since it oxidized on you maybe using the sponge will sheer it out a little, making it look lighter. Love watching you! You're so personable and enjoyable and amazing at makeup!!!

I noticed the same pore problem with this foundation. I had to use a pore filler primer and it definitely solved the problem. It's a good foundation in my opinion. Thanks for the review and demo!!!

I've found this foundation is best used when you only use like a pump and a half. Don't blend it up to under your eyes and use a medium coverage concealer to avoid cakeyness ( not la girl concealer/: ) and then set it with a translucent power. And do use a pore filling primer. I love the way it looks when I do it this way ❤️
