I got the Milani Glow a few weeks ago and it's too sheer, however I use it as a mixer with some other foundations and it works great on my super dry skin. I don't set it -- that's how dry my skin is, especially in the winter!

I like mixing Byterry cc cream with the cc serum. Low coverage but blurs and very comfortable for dry skin.

I love your reviews! I have the glossier and actually like it. But since the glossier I’ve learn how to do foundation without it looking heavy and cakey. Turns out I was using too much and had to start with a smaller amount lol. I can’t stand being able to actually see it. I might be weird

Using a brush usually gives a heavier coverage than a damp beauty blender. I also used more pumps than I needed when I started to wear foundation lol. You just want to even your skin tone and you can spot conceal after. Color correct before, if necessary. Set with a sheer or translucent powder instead of a powder foundation. You can use cream blush/bronzer if you have dry skin type. Just suggestions

I’m so glad I finally bought the flower beauty pressed powder!! It’s the only powder that doesn’t make me look very dry. I still haven’t tried the one from CT it’s supposed to be a dupe for but I can’t get over how well it works. I even wore it as a powder foundation yesterday and I’ve never thought I could do that!

Hi Patrice! I haven't done a full review on the CT but I have 2 shades of it and absolutely love it. It's one of my holy-grail top 10s if I had to pick only 10 makeup things forever and ever. I wear shade 1 in the winter and shade 2 in the summer. I use it mainly on my cheeks and high points, blended out.

I just bought it in two shades and decided I could try it risk free. My skin is dry,mature and sun damaged with large pores where most foundation and powders like to collect and make light pigment holes àll over my face and lots of lines and some wrinkles forming. This gives me exactly what I was looking for, a gentle blur and lots of hydration and NO PIGMENT HOLES IN MY PORES! Not even on my nose which has been a nightmare of trying all types of things to camophlage. I'm really loving it on the first application, and I will wear it for a week and decide then to keep with it or not. Thanks for comparison with high end product. It helps me to know if the high end one could be holy grail ! I've never tried a face makeup from Milani, only the single eyeshadows back in the day and we all know about their blushes! I found the way to the more radiant and less makeuppy look I had in mind.

I DO have the Glossier Skin Tint but this one has the word GLOW in it and you've said the OTHER magic word a number of times in this video which is DEWY! SOLD!!! I may have to buy the darkest shade but since it plays so well with the Flower Beauty powder (I love it as much as you do!), I don't think I'll have a problem with it! @@goow I just tried the new nyx brow glue yesterday. It’s the first product that kept every single brow hair right where I brushed them, for sixteen hours. I was floored! I used it by itself for the first try. I’m going to test it over my brow pencil next. The texture seems like it will just glide over any color product just fine because it’s not watery. It feels like liquid wax... didn’t set crunchy, didn’t turn white or flakey. And, it’s $8!!

I just got a tube of Butter London LumiMatte and love it, especially with the Pixi Flawless Beauty primer--it's light coverage, feels great on my skin and with the right primer, gives me just the right amount of glow.

Artic Fox has a purple that looks just like this but remember that you need to lighten you hair (if it's dark) and then apply this color to get the desired look. Hope this helps!

Hi Flora! My hair lengths have been bleached twice (not the roots, just the lengths), and then I do a mix of half Arctic Fox Purple Rain (a red-undertone purple) and half Poseidon (blue) to make it more of a blue-purple. This is after about 3 weeks of washes, and the blue seems to fade on me first, so it turns to sort of a magenta-purple as it fades. Then I dye it again at around the 8 week mark. :)

Looks dewy and hydrating on you. And it seemed to fade gracefully by the end of the day instead of creasing, etc.. I went to Walgreen's yesterday to pick up 2 new mascaras to try out from L'Oreal and Maybelline and while there found a gorgeous brush set from Real Techniques leftover from Christmas. There were quite a few available. It's the limited edition disco glam set of 8 brushes and 1 sponge that retailed for $40. It was on clearance for $20 but when I scanned my Walgreen's card, the price dropped to $12! They're so pretty with shiny chrome handles. The mascaras I bought were the new L'Oreal Air Volume and Maybelline Sky High. I was surprised that I preferred the Maybelline over L'Oreal as most of my faves are L'Oreal. I did not like the air volume at all and I'm mystified by all the hype around it. Messy, clumpy and takes forever to dry. If you try it I'd love to know your thoughts on it. :)

Hi Shelley it's a bit dark for a fair shade even going by drugstore standards. It looked REALLY glowy to start, but looked a lot better with a little powder. I wish I could wear such barely there coverage, but my rosacea prone 48 year old skin needs a bit more nowadays. Sheer coverage like this in my twenties would have been fine, but I have too much redness due to the rosacea. I have never found a Milani complexion product that suits my skin and it's much higher priced in the UK. it's a miss for me. Best wishes.

I just got the Colourpop Pretty Fresh Tinted Moisturizer. Sounds like they could be quite similar. It was a bit dewy at first, but did dry down. Everyone seems to love the Maybelline lipglosses. I think this looked great on you! I think the only time I wondered about it was the daylight check in. When you were doing that the blush, etc on your left cheek looked off to me and I couldn't figure out if it was the light or something to do with how the product underneath was making what was on top look. I think it was just the lighting but I wonder if it wouldn't be worth it to use an actual powder foundation (because the light illusion isn't, if I remember correctly)? Anyway I think it looked good on you but as the others have said, you have great skin and this showed it. I know part of that's because you are dedicated to your skincare! For me the top 2 I'd say for being sweat or rain proof are Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place and MAC Face & Body. I bet Dior Backstage would be great too but I haven't tested it in those conditions. On the drugstore side, I can't think of any that I specifically think stay put super great.

Hi Rebecca! Yes, I'm still using the Purito while we await the final results. I'm indoors most of the time anyway (high-risk covid household, on self-lockdown since numbers here are incredibly high) so if the SPF is lower than stated, it's not going to affect my very little incidental sun exposure. If I were going outside for longer periods of time, I'd wear my La Roche Posay instead, at least until we get a final word from Purito's latest round of testing. There were a couple things from the big "exposé" that seemed odd, which is why I want to hear the final results and am not shunning the Purito straight away (one being that the color of the product that tested as lower SPF was a different color than the authentic product, making me wonder if they somehow had a counterfeit).

Yes! I'm glad it finally made it there! They launched it a couple years ago through their web site. Both are good but I prefer the serum version. Went through nearly a whole bottle of it a few summers back (and with as many foundations as I have, that is rare!)

I just got a great laugh at your gamer tag explanation so thank you! lol my mom uses my Facebook so I know where you're coming from! 😂 I didn't have a great experience with the Hydromaniac. I had issues with it settling into lines and clinging to dry patches, and even after trying it a few different ways it would only wear for a few hours before breaking apart on me.
