The Chick Fil A manager is correct. Restaurants worldwide have been sued for giving away food to workers, homeless, etc. Some people actually get sick, but many are just looking for a quick way to make money. They even resell the food, thus causing other people ro get sick or whatever. Basically restaurants are just trying to avoid liabilities.

12:39 Ball carrots are a thing. Grew them as a kid, I liked crarrots but our family garden had shallow rocky soil (very bad for carrots) so my dad got ball carrot seeds which grow shallow. Came out pretty well. Anyway, those carrots may be meant to grow like that, depends what type of seed the OP bought.

Not getting what is happening at 9:57 9 hour flight? Where is the missing puzzle piece? 33:40, there is no 'inside out' for a fence. The contractor asks you which way you want the support structure to face. Some people don't like to see the support structure and so want it facing out. Other people are concerned with people climbing their fence, so have the support structure facing in, leaving a smooth surface facing out.

Food service employee here, with management experience. Corporate will not care. All that waste gets counted and logged into the system. They can and do throw food away like this every single day. For a variety of reasons. It might have been dropped on the floor, or made wrong, be a few hours out of its "best by" window (which I suspect is the case for the cookies) etc, so it can't be sold, and has to be trashed. Even if it would be safe for the employees to eat. It has to go in the garbage. And as long as it's accounted for, corporate doesn't care. In fact, they'd rather see it thrown away than given to employees or anyone else, as they consider free food to be lost opportunity for more profit. They'd rather trash the old ones, so people, even their own employees, have to pay them for new ones. Many managers WILL let their workers take some food after it's wasted and accounted for. But some don't. And if they say no, and a worker takes it, even out of the trash, it is considered theft, and the worker can be fired for it. And corporate will support this. They don't care about their employees' happiness or comfort or even health. They don't care about wasting perfectly good food. All they care about is making more and more money. Food service can be absolutely brutal. Most big corporations are the same, sadly.

As an addendum: if too much food is thrown away too often, like if this many cookies are thrown away every day, corporate WOULD notice. Because excess food waste cuts into their profits, too (too much product is being bought and not used). In that case, they still wouldn't give the excess food to anyone. They would instruct the managers to tell the person making the cookies to make less cookies each day. And they might authorize the managers to offer a deal on the excess cookies, like 2 for 1 or something. Because any profit is better than none. If the excess didn't stop, the General Manager would get reprimanded (maybe their bonus would be in jeopardy-poor things 🙄), and the GM would reprimand the shift managers, and then, of course, the shift managers would bitch at their crew. You know, shit flows downhill, and all that. But that's really the only way something like this could get a manager in trouble. This, or giving it to employees instead of throwing it away, unfortunately. But throwing it away in and of itself, no. Unfortunately, food-service is largely a numbers game, and food waste-even perfectly good food being thrown away-is just another part of it, that's already factored in to the final equation. A much too big, much too wasteful, very sad and sometimes infuriating in some cases, part of it. But part of it nonetheless. Again, all these corporations ever care about is their bottom line. Profit over people, every single time.

They hold up traffic because they ride where you can not get around them unless you go into the next lane and in my area there are so many cars on the road you rarely get a chance to do that because there are a million cars on both sides ...

Bikelanes tend to have speed limits, Bikers going faster than that , MUST use the road. It is not them being entitled, it is them following the rules.

@@Goldenhawk583 Oh I see , well that makes sense , they can't ride in their bike lane because their gng to fast , but I guess they don't have to follow the road speed limit , they can just ride in the middle of the road and I will follow behind THEM until they get where they need to be , so I guess the line of cars they hold up because they can't go in the " BIKE LANE " because they are following the RULES ....Well guess what once you are out of bike lane and are in road lane you follow the road rules , bike keep up with road speed limit and get right in the lane with the cars , not on the side where we can't pass , in the lane , do the speed limit and cyclists and motor drivers can live in perfect harmony! Oh and I stand by my statement entitlement, I have to go by their rules .. Whatever

Add 2:31 the man who flushes his food down the toilet and down the drain , my sister did the same thing and then her septic tank backed up cuz she's in the country so yeah everything inside septic tanks was frozen because it was the middle of winter and she had to pay a whole bunch of bucks to get it fixed.
