She told him she was pregnant with his child (Ridge) to get him to leave Beth and marry her. It worked, but Ridge was Massimo's son, not Eric's. She faked a heart attack to get Ridge to leave Brooke and marry Taylor. Ridge and Taylor got married in her hospital room. The woman is as deceitful as they come. She definitely kept things interesting.

More so, when Kathy Lang cried heavily as Mrs. Flannerly played a role, to where she passed away from cancer, as if Ms. Flannerly had literally passed on. It was a sad part played.
