Quoting Peter Bart who was basically Robert Evans' lieutenant - The Offer is very good science fiction! I think Matthew Goode is excellent as Robert Evans but a lot of embellishments we're taken - especially the Sinatra/ Puzo encounter. Highly recommend reading or watching The Kid Stays in the Picture and Leave the Gun and take The Cannoli.....

Yes, a lot, I found it sort of odd how they made a fun situation of the fight between Russo and Caan when he assaulted Russo…seems like they wanted to villainies him when other parts seem to want to show respect. Odd. Even though I liked that part of the story def wasn’t very real
