Dolly is not only a real legend but a treasure. Yes Dolly wrote I Will Always Love You and took it to #1 twice in the 70's and 80's before Whitney Houston covered in the 90's and it went to #1 again, which puts Dolly's song in the record books as the only song to hit #1 three times and it did so in three different decades.

Miley looks wonderful. Dolly is always stunning. I remember an interview with Miley, saying after she turned 18, she did a performance in a dress similar to the style she has on here and her people were scolding her, saying she needed to ramp up her sex appeal, which resulted in her doing that and we all know the names she's been called over the years. I wish they had allowed her to just be herself and behave how she felt most comfortable, because she is a talented young woman. Just a mini rant there. That out of the way, these two are outstanding together. You can tell Miley has a lot of respect for her godmother. As for Dolly singing "I Will Always Love You" I remember people comparing her and Whitney and someone said they are both amazing but the difference is, with Dolly, she sings it in a way that makes you feel she's having a personal conversation with someone, which you happen to be listening in on and Whitney sings in a way where it seems as if she is declaring her feelings for someone and she wants all the world to understand how much she loves that person. Two totally different styles but each one works so well, and both are unforgettable. I know you have covered Reba and Linda Davis singing "Does He Love You" and maybe I missed it somehow, but if you haven't seen the version of that song with Reba and Dolly, you really should. It's another example of how the style of the song changes but it is still just as amazing and let's face it, Dolly and Reba and Country Music Queens, so you know if you put them together it's going to be gold. Also, by Reba "She Thinks His Name Was John" and Lorrie Morgan "As Good As I Was To You".

I totally agree with every word. I want Dolly to remake wrecking ball by herself. I'm sorry...but Dolly would probably squash Miley on her own song. AND I LOVE LOVE hile Miley brings power, strength and attitude with her vocals & anger, Dolly brings subtle, definite anger, with a touch of softness...while being delicate a bit, she's able to convey a shit load of anger onto the listener thar just envelops said person. You can't let go until she releases you. And that is crazy greatness to me
