She's really matured. Miley is poised to pave the way to jump start renewed enthusiasm in rock n roll. Bless her heart!

Miley grew up in the spotlight. Its only natural that she changes before our eyes. I LOVE GROWING WITH MILEY! She's been amazing & true in everything she does. I felt when she said her music just didn't relate anymore. Totally hear and feel her lyrics 💗

could never thank miley enough for introducing me to artists like Paul Simon, Led zeppelin, Leonard cohen, and countless others😭 since around age 13 everytime she covers an artist I always dive into their discography and discover new music and artists i love!!

50 ways to leave your lover on SNL is one of her best performances ever!
@glennscott86224 жыл бұрын
pretty damn self-aware for someone in their 20s. She has already lived a lifetime and has an old wise soul. doesn't hurt that she is way more intelligent than given credit for. Key word is "authenticity" which in these times of universial deceit, shines.

Her cover of Fifty Ways To Leave Your Lover on the SNL 40 show was the moment I began to take her seriously. That was really good.

I always loved Miley for Miley, not Miley as Hannah
@karinacazares194 жыл бұрын
And even as Hannah there was always Miley's personality shinning through, to me there was never actually a "Hannah" lol
@fe50184 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I think she doesn't quite realise that even back then, 14 or whatever years ago, people cared so much more about 'Meet Miley Cyrus' than 'Hannah Montana 2'.

So few child actor/pop/singer stars survive into adulthood because they don't know who they actually are because their corporate sponsors have molded them, in their childhood, into a consumer product. Then when the corporate world is done with them they can be completely lost. Miley struggled with this, obviously, but she is coming out the end of this into an authentic performer. Nice to see this. Kudos to her.

She's 28 now..I think the fans who was there from the Hannah Montana days is growing with her and with this new style I think she will get new fans that didn't watch HM.
@breeviewAWAKENING4 жыл бұрын
Not likely. People are waking up to the music industry.
@waynej26084 жыл бұрын
She's not unlike The Beatles, in that sense. When they went from the days of screaming fans, weened on She Loves You etc, to serious songwriting and recording artists, with albums like Rubber Soul and Revolver. A reporter asked McCartney if he's worried about losing fans, circa 1966. Paul intimated that they may lose some fans, but many will stay and we'll likely get new fans, ya know. Yes, we do know. And, Miley appears to know, too. Ya know. 😎

I used to watch Hannah Montana when I was hungover in my early 20s, mostly to perv on Billy Ray, and to gently ease my brain back to life with Disney wholesomeness.. 😂 I've kept an eye on Miley's career since though, her set at Glastonbury was phenomenal, and her new album's great. Love that Dolly and Stevie Nicks are looking out for her, I hope she has some genuine peer friends around her too though, as I suspect life can be tough at times for her, especially at her age now when you're reckoning with your past and trying to figure out what you want your future to look like
