Milford Track - Things to KNOW before you Go: Fun Foto Tips and Trips Episode #20

Yep, I just…as in “just”…got off the track. I am still on the boat waiting to leave the track at the beginning of this video…and then I am waiting for my bus pick up as I leave the track. So, all my information is still fresh in my head. I took an informal survey of the other hikers leaving the Milford track and came up with a list of recommendations or considerations for anyone considering the Milford track. Now a little perspective is important. I am an occasional day hiker. I was not as fit as I needed to be hiking this trail. I thought I was…but I was not. If I did it all over again, I would do some things differently…which brings us back to the title. Here are all my recommendations for people who are going to hike the Milford track. Unfortunately, due to flooding we were not able to hike the entire track. We had to turn at the Mackinnon pass. I hope you can hike the entire trail. What an amazing experience! I am so excited for you.
