The Council has indeed implemented a number of PSPO rules, including a drone ban: “Any person(s)* who fly/flies a drone without the written consent of the landowner and/or London Borough of Brent, whether licensed or not.” It’s a fine line between protecting the public from potentially harmful acts and breaching on civil liberties and lawful activities such as filming. It seems that the anti-social behavior act is commonly misused to restrict lawful acts.

Yes... they can jam your drones. You don't have any freedom beyond what they let you .

Jamming radio frequencies is illegal. Only the Security services would have authority

It’s also banned (restriction #25) in all of their “parks, open spaces, cemeteries and graveyards”

Take off and landings maybe. Cant ban flights over.

Seems unreasonable for the council to be able to do that.

Wow. Thanks for fighting for public awareness. The Wembley Stadium is indeed zabardat. But the police officers: really "ignorance is bliss" ! Stay safe out there.

DJE you absolutely got it spot on with this video, fantastic images of Wembley, where did you get your drone from and how much did it cost? I so want one now, all the best, keep up the great work.

Just curious, the pspo says fly, not launch ? How did you come to that conclusion ? Putting aside the caa vs private land airspace ownership

That was all open fields not that long ago. There are photos of a Steam shovel digging out the railway line from London towards the tower that used to stand in woods there. Green fields, Oaks and Elms with hedges. One of the concrete pads that supported one leg of the gert Watkins Tower which was intended to be taller than the Eiffel Tower was found under the pitch when Wembley Stadium was rebuilt.
