§aturn That's true! But when I was a child we didn't have laptops, mobiles etc. We made mud pies, played marbles and rode bikes (yes I'm old!!). I did the 40hr famine a few times through school. I just feel that it's a lot different in today's society. But yes, all children should be aware.

Jay Wilkinson One of the key components to a better future will be the improvement of the supply of potable water in the West African nations. I might suggest: Bring Water to Africa's Poor / Africa Renewal Online. It's a one page read, and offers some insights on the various NGO efforts to provide safe drinking water at a community level.

SmileForRianne I might suggest: Can Matt Damon Bring Clean Water to Africa ? / Fast Company. It's a pretty interesting read on his behind-the-scenes efforts at providing the loan guarantees for small communities that want a basic utility (clean water), and are willing to conduct the financing / self governance of their own utility. He (Matt) also discusses some of the pitfalls of celebrity fund-raising - what works / what doesn't work.

You help everyone, no matter what. You seem so humble and down to earth and it's such a great thing to see. Yeah I'm still in high school but because of you and the help from God, I'm achieving everything I want to be. So thank you Louis. Thank you for being such an amazing person that inspires me to do the best I can for the world

It's amazing how people with so little can be so happy. I've worked with World Vision for over 20 years and am amazed at how much they are able to accomplish. Blessings and safe travels....:)

Louis, this is the best vlog I've seen from you yet. It supports a great cause, puts reality on camera from the local perspective, and breaks down the barrier between viewer and subject. Definitely appreciate this direction in your vlog. This is what young people need to spend their time watching!

I am literally in tears. Here I am worried about what classes I'm taking in college and thinking it's the end of the world and this boy wants to be an accountant and lost his father but still all he wants is an education. Thank you Louis for opening my eyes.

What an incredible video! I loved the little diary entries from the children in the village! I stayed in a village a bit like that one with the Maasai tribe in Kenya, it was the most amazing experience! X

What lovely warm vivacious people they are... It really touched my heart to see and hear those teenagers talk about their lives and their aspirations... I wish nothing but the absolute best for them.

Thank you for this vlog. I sponsor a child in Peru through World Vision and hearing those kids share their stories not only brought tears to my eyes, but it also made me glad that in my own way I am helping a child as well. Thank you again and I can't wait to see the rest of your vlogs!
