Being a white guy in the army with a shaving profile as a SGT (P) was always seen like the most sacrilegious sin when I was in. My responses to the shaving profile question actually were flip flopped with the way this guy presented it. Lmao, once got told “look at all the top NCOs. Do you see anything of those 1SG or CSM with a shaving profile?” My response was always damn that’s crazy…. But it is 2022 sooooo 😂

Bruh... look at it like this at least you'll obtain the free school and or other securities (if you selected a good career) those transfer when dealing in management. My manager is a retired Navy and he's one of the most hands-on- and easy to talk to supervisors he told me before he was a manager in Walmart he was in a submarine. His knowledge of maintenance helped him land a job to became a supervisor for maintenance and leading a team of 40 people. He retired as E6
