Bailey Crawford I agree and I'm sure the parents don't want to leave them but they are protecting their country.

I agree that having both parents in the armed forces and away from their kids is not by any means ideal. It's not a situation my husband and I would have chosen when our kids were young. But I do have great respect for people who serve their country, and I hope one of their parents manages to get a job closer to home: not just for the sake of the children but the parents as well- childhood just flies by.

I can’t count how many holidays I have spent with our boys. I can’t count on one hand two hands I don’t even have to take off my shoes. It has been 0 times. I served 20 years in the USN. Only to be alienated from their biological dad. I paid for her college from a BA to a Dr.Degree. And I their Dad is not allowed to see them in the USN to go on leave. While everyone else gets to see their families. I was told NO. I understand why so many military men and women take their own lives. The HATRED they have to deal with is not easy. I have died numerous times, I have survived cancer, diabetes. I STILL did my job. I still served. But I know one who is always there. My FATHER IN HEAVEN.

Feel bad. Kids are that young and one doesn't recognize mom and daughter is obviously taking her parents absence hard. There is NOTHING wrong with a woman serving shoot some Woman are just as good or better than men but both parents of young kids at the same time???that just has to be rough for kids especially younger than 15 or so

Although it's lovely to see people being reunited with their loved ones, I don't feel like parents should be their children's christmas presents... Shouldn't they just be there...? At least one? I don't get it........
