I made a habit of eating healthy... and basically I went to meps at 155 pounds 4 months ago I was good for army standards since I am 5'6 , and now I am 135 I have lost 20 since that and not on purpose I am eating on maintenance weight plan but scale still dropping I guess because of all the exercises

🙋‍♀️ yup that's what happened to me, I actually broke my pelvic bone during basic training, very painful specially since I was walking around for a whole week with a broken pelvis not fun at all. So true about getting a profile, I was avoiding to go to sick call but ended up hurting my self a lot worse.

They don't let y'all eat sweets in basic training? Ours was different by platoon, we ate donuts, honey buns at chow in my platoon. DS said it's up to you to pass the PT test. If you don't you gets the boot. 2nd platoon couldn't eat sweets and a couple guys tested the waters and got their whole platoon smoked for two hours after dinner chow. Needless to say after puking they went to bed hungry af them nights 😂😂😂😂

I plan to get my new car before basic, I was talking to my recruiter and he said I would have to park it at home in my parents driveway before I leave for basic. And then he said I would be able to go home after basic and drive it to wherever I'm gonna be at.

Fat boy program.... I got stuck with leading the remedial PT program. I think the new ACFT is a joke. The purpose changing the APFT to the ACFT was because they felt like the APFT was no longer mission essential. My question is how they think this new layout is going to be any different. People who workout know you can implement different variations of exercises in with the normal APFT workout style in order to simulate combat situations. Taking away certain aspects and implenting others isn't always the best case. Also with it being broken down by MOS, so instead of keeping a standard across the board for everyone, we gone say the non combat MOS PT test shouldn't be as rigorous as a combat MOS? Last I checked we all need to be similarly trained just in case shit hit the fan and that pencil warrior needs to step up and do what they swore in to do. We are all infantry primarily before you got trained in AIT for your specific secondary MOS. Ugh... If ain't broke don't fix it, stop changing my beloved Army.

@@DontCareFax I know just giving you crap. There isn't any techniques, you'll walk in with your mask on or dawned as we say in the military. Y'all will be placed up against a wall and one by one at least for us we were instructed to take a deep breath and remove our mask. Then we were asked a series of questions. To most the chamber will win and there will be a few who can actually tolerate it.
