I got my medals from medals of America and one of them was a Afghanistan medal when I got my order in the mail it was a Iraq medal not a Afghanistan medal the ribbon was right just not the medal. I called about it and they had it fixed in less then 24 hrs witch was good because my ball was the next day. I give Medals of America 4 stars out of 5 because of the mess up but they did one hell of a job to get it to me in the nick of time.

How is a scenario handled where a foreign medal is in the rack? Other than placing them lowest in the order of precedence, but what I'm interested in knowing is about the alternate mounting styles used in other countries like triangles in Austria, Hungary and Bulgaria; and the pentagonal style used by Denmark and Russia. If there were someone who was issued a medal from any of these countries, would the medal be mounted in the same square style as US medals or be applied to the rack as-is with the old mount?

Can you do ribbons for Veterans Service Organizations? I wear my Marine Corps League ribbons on my undress Blues. But the ribbons from the ships store, sometimes leaves something to be desired.

How do you guys fold the cloth over the mount? I had a rack get smashed so I took the cloth off, ordered the brass "guts" of the ribbons (no cloth) but I noticed the edges have to be folded onto the cloth at the top and bottom. Do you do this by hand or does it require a machine press?

I had these guys make 2 sets of miniature medals and they couldn't get the appurtenances right. Even after communicating with them several times. I even had to send them excerpts from DA PAM 670-1, AR 670-1 and photographs of what they should look like. After about the 3rd try they got it right, I asked them to make a duplicate set so I could have another one just like it, guess what? It was all jacked up too. I got a refund on both sets and went to another company to have my awards made. Their Navy Presidential Unit Citation ribbons look horrible and had to send an entire batch back as they were coming unwoven on the edges.

Yes in fact. Most ROTC Ribbons are (Military) Ribbons. Just with a different name. You just have to play the matching game when shopping for them.
